Ahanu 
The silence lingered after she was done as Ahanu mulled over what all she'd said. "How long before it was real?" he finally asked. His eyes hadn't left the floor.

Charity sighed. "Not long."

Ahanu
"I-I need to know when; what all was and wasn't. Otherwise my mind will twist it." Ahanu tried to keep the emotions at bay for now. 

Charity
"Um..." Charity thought about it, although to her it was all still very confused. "I guess... when you took me under the deck? I dunno, it was such a shocking process that I can't remember exactly when."

Ahanu
"Okay." He sat there a moment, then finally looked up. "I need some air." He stood from where he sat on the floor and headed for the hut door. 

Charity
Charity bit her lip and laid back down as a few tears started flowing down her face. She snuggled against the blanket again, trying to find some physical or emotional comfort in it.

Ahanu
He went to the rail to get his thoughts together. He was taking this better than he thought he would. Probably because he had suspected something bad would happen, but this didn't turn out too horribly. Ahanu stepped back and looked around. He found a couple extra blankets out here and scooped them up. Going back into the hut, he sat down on the very edge of Charity's bed. "You're shivering. Here."

Charity
Charity took the blankets thankfully, wrapping them around her. "Sorry... by the way."

Ahanu
"It's fine. But I'm not going to lie - you need to stop using people like that. It's better to build genuine friendships and relationships with people." 

Charity
"I know," Charity sighed. 

Ahanu
"Are you still cold?"

"A little bit... but not too bad," she admitted.

"Anything I could do to help?"

Charity
Charity shook her head. "Not unless you could think of something."

Ahanu 
He shook his head. "No ideas. Why are you so cold?"
