Dove
She bobbed her head in agreement. "Me too! Maybe we could go exploring?" 

Luther
"Sounds good." Upstream. Luther turned and started padding up the bank, the stream flowing past him and swirling away into the trees.

Atlas
"Oooh, exploring! Sounds fun! Let's go, I can't wait!" Atlas cried, very enthusiastically. The idea of going exploring was very appealing to him. I wonder what we'll find! Squirrels? Chipmunks? Rabbits? Birds? Who knows what! We can go wherever we want! I've never felt so free! I can go wherever I want, do whatever I want, eat whatever I want, for as long as I like! I like being free.

Darcy
Darcy trotted along after Luther, worried yet slightly curious about what they would find. I've never had a dog friend before. I wonder if Luther is. He's definitely not an enemy, or someone to question. 

Fable
Fable looked around. He had convinced himself that it was nothing, partially anyway. When the smell seemed fainter, than stronger than ever, he was quite confused. "Hello?" 

Dove
She was about to take a step but her paw froze mid-air. She glanced at Atlas. "Did you hear that?"

Luther
He padded along up the river bank, nose slightly lifted in the air to pick up any possible danger. The wind was favorable, flowing his direction. Nothing up ahead. Luther kept his eyes open for a good shelter, but mostly he just saw trees and the river sliding past.

Atlas
Atlas perked his ears up swiveling them around. "Yes." He said uncertainly, cocking his head slightly. "What is it?" He asked, getting more and more excited by the minute.

Dove
"I  think it was... maybe another dog?" Dove sniffed the air, curious, and then gave a happy yip, her tail whipping the air. "I'm pretty sure it is another dog!"

Atlas
"I hope so." I also hope it's a friendly one. Two friends, and a forest of adventure. What else could a dog ask for?

Fable
Fable heard a few voices, slightly muffled by the leaves. He sniffed deeply. Hmm, leaves, trees, oh a berry bush over there, a squirrel, and what smelled like... a dog? No. Too strong. It could be a few dogs. Fable cut his mind off and quietly said under his breath to no one in particular. "I doubt it."

"Lets find out!" She took off in a run, tail splitting the air with wild wags. She slid to a stop when she spotted the other dog. "Hello!"

Fable
Fable squinted. He had heard a voice and saw a two colored smudges running towards him. He turned his head slightly so he was peering through is left grey eye and saw clearer; it was two dogs. Fable jumped off the log and didn't bother to walk forwards. They were already running a million miles per hour over.
