Trust Me RP

Parker
Parker turned away from Cora and focused back on Brooke. "Sorry 'bout that, darling. Were we talking about something? I can't remember." 

Cora
Cora stared at Auberon for a minute, then softened her expression. "I'm sorry. I was rude, I know..." she mumbled, looking down at her feet.

Brooklynn
Brooklynn was secretly caught off guard by the nickname, although she didn't show it. "I forgot, too," she said, shrugging.

Auberon
Auberon raised his eyebrows at Cora, then sighed quietly. "My name's Auberon."

Parker
"Oh, well. Probably wasn't anything important." Parker glanced over at Cora's apology, noting how she was talking specifically to Auberon. "I wish I could stop them from hurting you," he said to Brooke.

Brooklynn
Brooke shrugged, which hurt considerably less than it would later, but she regretted it. "I brought it on myself, so there wasn't much you could do anyway," she said. 

Parker
He sighed. "I guess." 

Brooklynn
"You doing okay?" Parker's injuries were not so unimportant. Brooke was more worried about him than herself at the moment.

Parker
"Yeah, I'll be okay until we get out of here." Psychically, at least. "It's Outlaw I'm worried about," he added quietly, so Outlaw wouldn't hear.

Brooklynn 
Brooklynn nodded. Let's hope my dad brings the paramedics with him. Brooklynn bit her lip at the next thought. If he comes at all.

Auberon
"You should apologize to Parker now," Auberon said with a shrug, glancing at Parker, then looking back at Cora.

Cora
Auberon... Hmm... That's an interesting name- "What?! Oh um... Sorry Parker," Cora mumbled, not bothering to look at Parker.

Parker
He glanced up as Auberon mentioned his name and watched with an amused expression as Cora 'apologized.' He couldn't help but chuckle before he returned to his conversation. "She's not seeing any official doctors. I have a friend who can see to us and not mention anything. If your dad sees her, she could get locked up, and... I know it's the law, but I really don't want to do that to her." Parker shrugged, then winced. I shrug way too much, he thought with a small smile.

Auberon
Auberon shook his head and rolled his eyes. Wow... good job.
"You think she pokes cows with sticks?" He asked Outlaw, making sure he was quiet enough for Cora to not hear.

Brooklynn 
Brooklynn nodded. "I wonder..." she trailed off, thinking, then smiled a little.

Parker
"What's that smile about?" Parker asked in a slightly teasing tone.
