Deep Sea RP *SU*

Welcome to the Ocean! In this RP, you will play a merpony living in the Ocean. Adventures are many, friendships are always made, and experiences like never before. Each merpony lives in a herd, each living in a different location in the Ocean. As the Ocean is nothing like land, there is no need for the herds to move from their locations other than to explore the deep blue sea.

Herds
Abyss Herd
This herd is a herd of tough merponies living near the abyss. Merponies here "guard" the abyss by warning other merponies to stay away. They sleep and take up residence in tunnels they dig in the sand near the edge of the abyss.

Coral Reef Herd
This herd lives in the colorful coral reef, are playful and energetic but rarely adventurous. Though playful, this herd is very cautious and warns all merfoals to stay away from anything that looks dangerous - especially the Abyss.

Cave Herd
An adventurous lot, the Cave Herd lives in the caves of the sea. Often meeting up with dangerous large predators (sharks, etc.) and often having merponies leaving to explore and come back, they are brave, loyal, and loving.

Locations, Undersea Land Marks, Etc.
Abyss
A dark and mysterious place, many merponies grow uneasy around this deep hole (including the Abyss Herd!). Many believe large, mysterious, dangerous predators live down there, waiting for a little merpony to venture into it's depths. Not even adventurous merponies would dare go down into this dark place.

Coral Reef
This is the coral reef that the Coral Reef Herd lives in. Beautiful, colorful, and on the most part safe, it is a beautiful haven for all the worrywarts out there.

Caves
The home of the Cave Herd, the caves are beautiful! With mystery dripping from every stalagmite and stalactite, the sun filtering in from the surface, dancing wonderful shades of blue, the caves are a wonderful place.

Place of No Return
Many believe that the dead coral reef, miles away from all of the herd's residences, is a place of no return. Many merponies have ventured there and never come back, striking fear into the hearts of even the bravest and toughest of all merponies. Even the sight of the cracked coral, gray and dreary, seems hideous and fearsome.

Merpony Meeting Place
Every year, the leaders and select few of each herd gather at a shipwreck. They selected this place not only because of it's ideal location, right in the center of all three herds, but because of the ship's name. The Seahorse may not have been named after merponies, but these herds like to think it was.

The sea is a big place - other shipwrecks can be found. Most of the rest of the Ocean is big blue sea with sea creatures swimming about.

Rules
~ We are deep below sea. No storms can reach us (other than whirlpools). Whirlpools are rare, so please do not have them constant.
~ No plot twists. PM me if you have a plot twist idea.
~ Keep this PG to PG-13
~ No swearing; do not have overly descriptive battle scenes; no descriptive mating. If your merpony does mate, be very very vague.
~ If you read all rules put "this is cool" in other and ignore the next time I tell you to put something in Other
~ No merpony will ever enter the abyss. If you want to, this applies to the plot twist rule.
~ Be descriptive! I want at least three GOOD sentences per post.
~ I have every right to kick you from the RP or decline your form
~ This is a relatively peaceful ocean
~ You may not be mates/crush with yourself
~ There can not be too many loners, only a few
~ Merponies are not territorial, but social. It is common for members of one herd to visit someone in another
~ Have fun!
~ If you read all the rules, put "I love merponies" in Other.

Name: Sanna
Herd: Coral Reef
Wanted Rank: Mare
Personality: Fun-loving and mischievous, at first glance Sanna seems to fit perfectly in the Coral Reef Herd. But her adventurous side throws it all off. Sanna loves to be adventurous, do dangerous things. It makes some of the other herd members nervous.
History: Sanna grew up in the Coral Reef Herd. Her birth mother supposedly died in the abyss, but as a filly, Sanna would imagine her having the time of her life with mysterious and wonderful creatures. She has dropped this silly notion now that she is older, but believes that her mother didn't go to the Abyss.
Crush/Mate: None yet.
Other: Nope
Description and/or Picture: Sanna has a beautiful white coat with light blue outlining. Her hooves have feathering and blue socks/stockings. Her mane has two different shades of blue and white in it. Her eyes are a beautiful startling light icy blue.


Name: Kingo (protection in Swahili)
Herd: Abyss Herd
Wanted Rank: Betta Stallion
Personality: Kingo is a very protective stallion, both brave and loyal. He can seem harsh at times, and isn't one to open up. Most often, he is a quiet stallion, almost always carrying a stern expression.
History: Kingo was born who knows where. His mother died, and he eventually found his way to the abyss edge. Wanting to end all his pain, he planned to swim to the bottom. He was still almost a newborn. Someone from the Abyss Herd stopped him, and he became one of them, and excelled to high positions.
Crush/Mate: None (Yet?).
Other: Nope
Description or Picture: A dark, chocolatey colored coat that rippled with muscle is one of Kingo's more attractive points. He has almost translucent light brown spines on his back and tail, and his mane is three different shades of brown. His eyes are amber, and he usually carries a stern expression. He has a dark brown fin near his leg joint.

Papyrus stood in front of his Lord as the whirlwind approached. "The gods are angry!" someone yelled. "Calm down you all! Take cover and fallow me." He lead the screaming merponies. He heard one call for help and a merfoal cried. "All of you go that way!" he said waving his tail to the left. "Whatever you do, do not stop!" he watched them leave as he went after the one in need of help. He grabbed the foal, in which had gotten caught in some seaweed, and gave it to her mother. They nodded in thanks and swam off. But, however, Papyrus was to slow to catch up. The currents were to strong and he was sucked into the vacuum. He spun round and round, gasping for breath.
Back in the herd, they all flew up and away from the whirlwind. The leader prayed he would return though he could not. Papyrus lay on the cold sea reef. It was colorful. He awoke to a colorful she horse. His vision was blurry. "H- Hello?" He asked.
"What are you doing down there Papyrus?!" She asked. Everyone knew each other, especially high ranks. "Nice to see you. Need some rest? Anything. The Lord knows you are already here. He will help you with your return to your herd. They have moved west."
"I am sorry, but I must get to them now..."
"I knew you would say that, so I brought you some Dustro Kale. See ya!" She said swimming off.
