Eudora
Shifting her weight, Eudora felt the floor beneath her groan. "Times almost up Jade," she said. "I'm gonna see if I can get the floor to collapse beneath him, and just be prepared if we accidentally fall too." she closed her eyes again and intensified the fire that was around Johnny's feet.

Jade
She nodded. "If we don't get a chance to talk after this, great job. This was impressive." Jade sighed inside her head. Would this be It? At least most of her friends had escaped. She set her jaw with determination. Eudora would survive. Noah's hypnotism fell away in the moment. The floor buckled in, and two things happened as Jade felt herself begin to fall. She summoned the water, splitting it into two. The majority of it surrounded Eudora to cushion her landing and keep her from the searing heat. The water around her began to evaporate, as all of Jade's concentration was on that surrounding Eudora. As the heat broke through, Jade ordered the water to stay, at the least just that around Eudora. "I love you, Alex," she murmured. And then, black. Yet the water around Eudora held.

Eudora's stomach went terribly hot as she saw Jade fall. "NO!!!!" she let all her fire out, evaporating the water around her. She fell onto her feet and fell back to relieve the pressure on her legs. She got up and grabbed Jade and swung her over her shoulders. She looked to the nearest exit, of which was completely blocked with fire. But that wasn't much of a problem for Eudora. She stared at it, and the fire spread out, giving her a way to escape. She got bother herself and Jade out before that part of the building collapsed and exploded.
She laid there for a couple of minutes hearing the sirens of fire trucks. She looked over to her right to see Kahlen, Bobby, James, and Ethel. But no Katie. She got up and dragged Jade over to them. "Where's Katie?"
She looked herself over to realize that the force of the fire that she used to evaporate Jade's water had burned a lot of her skin.

"Ya, I'm fine, take care of Jade!" she yelled as she ran back into the building. "I'll be back!" she called. Fire and smoke filled her nostrils and stomach again, and she felt like passing out. Come on Eudora, stay

Bobby
He knelt next to Jade. "These burns are really bad," he said, matter-of-factly, and opened his jacket. He pulled out a few select leaves and chewed them in his mouth, forming a poultice.

Eudora
Eudora stumbled backwards as a part of the roof fell down six feet away from her. She coughed and brushed the smoke away from her face. "Katie!" she called again, but still no reply. But everything was starting to look fuzzy and her lungs started burning, so Eudora headed back out. "I can't fine her, and now the entrance is all blocked up." she said coughing.

He nodded and searched through the kit. Finding some burn cream, he mixed it in with his poultice and rubbed it onto Jade's arms, hands, face, etc. He leaned closer to hear her breathing and checked her wrist for a pulse. He looked up, fear crossing his features. "We're losing her!" He dug frantically through the first aid kit. "I need ambrosia or nectar - something!"

He nodded his thanks and took both. Turning to Jade, he dripped a small amount of nectar into her mouth. Theoretically, it being a liquid, it would be easier to feed her unconscious. He tilted her head back and it slipped down her throat.

Jade
She stirred and was hit with intense pain, like her skin was on fire. She coughed, for something had gone down her throat. Her eyes fluttered open and she painfully glanced around. "Eudora," she rasped, "You got burnt." Bobby's face leaned over her. "Drink this," he said, and she obeyed. The pain faded slightly, but she wasn't sure if it was because of the drink or the fact she was slipping into unconsciousness once more, her last thoughts before her mind went blank about how she had failed in keeping Eudora safe from the flames.

Eudora looked at Jade as she was conscious. She nodded slightly and started crying more. She wiped her eyes and felt searing pain go through her face as her tears soaked into her burns.

Bobby
Without looking up, he handed Eudora the burn cream. "Here," he said kindly. "Rub it into the burns." He dripped more nectar into Jade's mouth and handed a square of ambrosia to Eudora. "Its not your fault," he said as he rubbed poultice and cream into Jade's burns.
