Eudora
"Awesome," she said looking at it. "The fire department is gonna be here soon... I'll have to keep this building on fire as long as I can. It's gonna take a lot to kill our- new husband," she said giving him a disgusted look. "We'll have to make sure everyone gets out safely as well."

Kahlen

Eudora
Eudora felt warmth spread around the room, and her stomach felt a pulse of heat rush through it. "Alrighty, lets see what I can do with this."

Jade
She nodded and opened the lid of the cooler. She grinned at her reflection in the water. "Can you work from underneath a barrier of water? I can make a shield around us with this and hopefully it won't evaporate in the fire."

Bobby
He followed Kahlen, tugging Ethel by the hand to make sure she didn't fall behind. Upon coming across the locked door, Bobby pulled his flute out and played a short tune. The lock clicked and Bobby flung the door open. He could hear the fire picking up behind him. "Come on!" he cried.

Eudora
"Ya, I think so. But just don't let the water evaporate," she said summoning fire into her hand. "Why isn't Johnny saying anything? It makes me scared he's about to crush us or something." she threw fire at the wall just behind Johnny, then summoned more fire into her hand.

Jade
"I don't know if I can keep it from evaporating - but I'll try." She glanced up. "He's not talking because he's busy." Johnny was crashing into everything remotely possible, blindly stumbling about. Jade crouched. "Eudora, crouch down, please. The smaller amount of space I need to cover, the easier it will be to hold the 'shield' in place."

Kahlen

Bobby
He looked around, panting, and counted heads. "Kahlen, Ethel, James... Eudora and Jade are inside on purpose..." His eyes widened. "We never found Katie."

Eudora
Eudora crouched down like Jade had asked her to. Her stomach was starting to burn at an abnormal strength now, and it almost made her want to throw up. She closed her eyes and focused on evoking fire from her body heat. She put out her hand as fire came from it, but this time it was a bright blue, and it swirled in her hand as if it were alive.

Jade
"I'm going to wait until you're done shooting fire from your hands so that the water shield doesn't get broken." She shut the cooler lid to keep the water from spilling or in any way going away, as it was going to keep them alive.

Eudora
Eudora felt heat leave her stomach and pulse through he arm. "Okay," she mumbled at Jade, trying to concentrate. She opened her eyes and threw the fire at Johnny.

Eudora
"Okay, i think that was good enough," she told Jade. "You can do it now. I'll control the fire outside of the water to attack him."

Jade
She nodded and opened the cooler, closing her eyes for concentration. The water marched out of its container and formed a swirling half circle over the two crouching girls. The heat of the nearby fire caused some of the water to start evaporating, but with extreme difficulty Jade was able to force it back into liquid form and into the protective force field of water. Jade had to focus all her attention on keeping water from evaporating.

Eudora
Eudora looked over at Jade and, seeing that she was concentrating, she sat down criss cross and closed her eyes. She focused on the fire outside of the water shield and tried her best to intensify it. Suddenly, there was a loud crash outside the room they were in. The building was starting to fall apart.

Jade
The crash didn't distract her, but when there was another loud clang and a wail from Johnny, the water almost slipped. "Sorry," she mumbled as heat blasted them for a short moment. The shield back in place, Jade groaned as she realized some water (a small amount, but thaf could prove detrimental) had evaporated and then disappeared in the raging flames.
