She grinned at Eudora. "I'll try," she said. They walked in, and Jade looked around. It was a bit warm, and according to Eudora would come in handy. Probably help her make fire. She looked at Kahlen. "No Ares?"

Eudora
"I don't think you can kill a god," Eudora said to Kahlen, leaning up against the wall.

Eudora looked straight into the eyes of the monster that Kahlen was looking at. She twirled her hand producing fire, kind of startled.

Jade
She turned her head to look at what the others were also looking at. Her hand leapt to her sword and drew it with a whoosh of celestial bronze on leather. Planting her feet on the floor, her sword raised, she glared defiantly into its glowing red eyes. "What is it?" she asked, not breaking eye contact.

Eudora
"Well I'm guessing it's gonna kill us if we don't kill it first," Eudora put out her fire feeling the warmth drain out of her stomach. "Unfortunately it's not warm enough to keep fire going forever..." she mumbled. "Gotta use it wisely."

Kahlen

"My pleasure," Eudora smiled and set a flame on it.

She had slipped off, away from the two boys, towards the deepest part of the forest. She froze now at the sound of what seemed to be marching coming from the camp. Or more like heading towards the camp, she realized. She let out a soft but piercing whistle, that to the unsuspecting ear would simply sound like a bird. The snowy owl soon alighted on her arm.

Eudora watched part of the monster catch flame slightly. "Oh, crap... This is a building, and if that fire finds the floor..." she said watching the fire as if it was a troublemaking child and she was the babysitter.

Eudora glanced over at Jade. "Shouldn't there be a water fountain in here somewhere?"

"No kidding," she said to Kahlen. She glanced at Eudora and shook her head sadly. "No, I don't sense anything. Not even a freaking water bottle." She looked back at the huge beast in front of her. And then she realized something with horror. Instead of looking at its eyes, she was looking at its eye. "It's a cyclops," she said. And it was enormous, bent over to fit into the room. "How did we not see this?" she grumbled to herself. The large, humanoid monster clapped his hands and grinned evilly at them. "Yes, Johnny is
