Wild Rose Ranch RP

Alex sighed, running a hand through hia hair wearily when he was out of sight in his new (albeit temporary) home. He sat the crate on the ground, making sure the cabin door is closed before opening the cage door, and watyching his little grey kitten spring back to life after the three hour car trip. She meowed brightly at him, pawing at his knee, and he smiled a little, standing up. Checking in the closet, he finds cat stuff for her, and puts the bed and bowls onto the ground, filling them up. "Now Margie." He begins, heading for the door. "You have to stay here, alright?" The kitten mews in response, crawling under the bed. Alex shut the door behind him, and joins the back of the group quietly.

Storm
“Alright, lets go meet the horses and dogs.” She said before heading towards the kennels. She open the door and held it open for the teens. The dogs came to the front of their large runs that lined the long aisle, ears perked, excited to meet the new arrivals. 

Billy
“Alright!” He said as he followed her. He stepped into the kennel and stared in amazement at the many dogs, each in their own spacious, clean pen with a hut, bed, food and water, toys, and doggie doors that led to outdoor pens.

Olivia
She was at a loss as to an answer to his question, but luckily they moved on before she could form a response. She stepped in after Billy into the kennel, and had to remind herself not to let her mouth drop. The dogs had excellent accomadations, and they all seemed so sweet. She couldn't wait to hear which was hers and go see it. She looked down the row, studying their happy faces and waggling tails, a smile forming on her face. She tore her eyes away and looked to Storm, shuffling her feet. "I can't wait to hear which one's mine," she murmured to Billy, who she had found herself standing beside. 

Ivy 
Ivy flinched slightly at the sound of all the barking dogs, but she was relieved to finally meet her new companions. She knew she'd be more comfortable around them.

Billy
“I don’t know, I’m curious to though! The only dogs I’ve ever met are the police ones that chased me, so hopefully it’s nice!” he said with a grin. 

Hazel
Following after the large mass of teens and staying in the back of the group she followed them to the dog kennel. Sighing and entering she rubbed her hands together and watched the dogs wagging there tails in there kennels. Giving a frown she rubbed her thumb and index finger together sighing and mumbling aloud to herself. “Salsa’s not going to be happy about this...” aging it quietly and running a hand through her hair and waiting for instruction on what to do on which dog she’d be assigned to.

Katie

Katie hung nervously at the back of the group; the loud barking noises were making her anxious, and she hoped that she wouldn't get a big dog - she had never owned a dog before, and she struggled enough with Sunny. She turned to Hazel after she metioned her cat. "Yeah, but I'm sure he will forgive you."


Alex

Although he didn't want to show too much interest, he really was excited to find out which dog was his to look after. He used to have a dog, but the streets were no place for a dog like Posy - a gorgeous purebred australian shepard, with papers to match. Alex had ended up tying her outside a shelter, relieved when he saw that a worker had taken her inside to a better life.

River sighed and walked into the kennels. "Great"she thought. Out of all the animals she has to take care of a dog. Noway she was going to do that

Storm
"alright you guys, hush it." she told the dogs. they quieted down, but still stayed at the front of their runs, excited eyes watching every move everyone made. "alright, so Katie, you have this dog" she said, going to the first kennel on the right, where a tricolor dog watched them excitedly but nervously. "this is Scout. just move slowly when you go in to meet him, he came from an abusive home so he's scared of quick movements and loud noises but he's very sweet" she told Katie with a smile. "alright, Alex, this dog is your's" she said going to the cage beside Scout's, where a tan colored dog was leaping up and down with excitement. "this is Monet, or Mo for short. she's still a puppy so she's very excitable, she was rescued from a puppy mill" she said before going to the run beside her's, which held an excited tricolor. "Landyn, this is your dog. her name is Sadie. she's quite feisty as you can see, but she's sweet too, and a smartaleck." she grinned before moving to the run beside Sadie's, which had a large, black and white dog. "Billy, this Orca, she's your dog" she said, and moved on to the one beside Orca's. a dark gray dog stood in it, tail wagging furiously. "Olivia, this is Kuzco, he's your boy." she then crossed over to the second kennel on the left. a black dog stood at the front, wagging his tail happily. "Ivy, this is Dexter, or Dex. he's your dog. he's very gentle and sweet, so you two should get along good." Storm said with a smile. the kennel beside Dexter's held a beautiful, aristocratic looking golden dog. "Marce, here's yours. this is Lark, she's a Saluki, which is a relatively rare breed around here." the next cage held a fluffy, dusky gray dog, which stood at the front gently wagging it's feathery tail. "River, this is Crick, she's your dog." she moved to the last cage, which held a small red dog that leaped up down tail wagging wildly while she did it. "Hazel, here's Sable. she's very energetic, as you can see." she stood in the middle of the aisle to watch them with the dogs, her own dog sitting politely at her feet


Billy
he lift the latch on the pen's gate and stepped in, closing the door and slowly crouching down to the dog's level. the dog came up and immediately licked his hands before putting it's head in his lap. "oh wow" he muttered as he gently fondled it's head. "you're a beauty" he breathed as it looked at him with one blue eye and one green eye "so, you're name's Orca huh? it suits you. and I thought the police dogs where impressive! you put them all to shame, you know that?" he said. the dog wagged it's tail and panted happily.

Marceline
 Marce stepped up to Lark's kennel and peered inside. The dog sat towards the back on the enclosure, regarding the teens with skepticism. She twitched one of her ears as Marc fiddled with the latch.
 "Hey... dog," the seventeen-year-old murmured, treading slowly towards the animal. Lark stood up, giving the girl a warning look. Marc stopped, letting the dog keep her personal space.

Katie
Katie cautiously stepped inside the kennel, kneeling and calling Scout over gently. She already hated the way he ran over submissively, tail between his legs like he was going to get hit. "Good boy." She cooed, running her fingers slowly through his long dark coat, and grinning as he licked her arm.

Alex
Alex swallowed his laughter at the excitable puppy - he couldn't even get the door open without her scrambling up into his arms! "Hey sweetie." He snickered, sitting down and covering his face with his arms in an attempt to ward Monet, who was currently trying to lick his face. "Okay, okay." He smiles, feeling a sudden surge of proudness as she stepped back, still excited and tail wagging furiously, but listening nicely to him.

Olivia
She walked slowly to the kennel, mindful of the dog that Storm had said was scared of quick movements. She fumbled with the latch and entered. Before she could crouch, Kuzco jumped and put his front paws on her. She laughed and fondled his ears. "Hey, big guy," she said gently. His fur was thin, but soft, and his big, round head was adorable with that lolling tongue. She instantly knew his breed - pit bull. His tail lashed the air furiously, and he licked at her hand. She finally was able to sit on the floor of the kennel, and Kuzco rolled onto his back, squirming close to her. She laughed. "You're adorable," she said, rubbing his belly. He froze, his tongue hanging out of his mouth and his tail slowly wagging in pure bliss. Olivia knew right then she'd love this dog.

Ivy 
Ivy approached the kennel. The dog, Dexter, was so excited that his little nub tail was making his hindquarters wag as well. He whined softly, anxious to meet a new friend. He looked at Ivy with his big brown eyes.
Ivy was instantly in love. She entered and sat on the floor. Immediately, Dexter was crawling all over her lap and licking her face. She laughed and gently moved his muzzle away from her face. "Hey boy. You like kisses, don't you?" He nudged her hand, putting it on top of his head. She soon found his favorite spots to be pet were under his chin and his belly. "You and I are going to get along just fine, I think," she murmured into his fur. Dexter sighed happily. Earlier, he'd sensed how tense his new friend had been. Now she was much more relaxed and happy. 

Storm
She watched them with their dogs. She quietly made her way to Alex and Monet. “Good job Alex” she said as he got Monet to sit. She went to Marce. “Give her sometime and she’ll come around, she’s had a rough time and doesn’t know who to trust” she murmured to Marce. She had given her Lark because Marce and Lark seemed to be very alike, so hopefully Marce would be able to connect with Lark, and hopefully Lark could bring her out of her shell. 

River nodded and walked into cricks kennel. Kneeling down she petted the dog and hugged it
