Hazel
Nodding to Katie as she mentioned Salsa would forgive her she blinked her Hazel-green eyes hoping that Katie was right before Storm read the list of dogs and matches. Nodding and going to the last kennel with the corgi that said Sable she entered the pen slowly with a smile on her face seeing the sable corgi wag her butt and jump against her legs. Sitting down on the floor and grinning she held out a hand gently allowing Savle to sniff it which she did. Giving an excited bark and crawling into Hazel’s lap she circled one and then laid down resting on Hazel’s lap with a content sigh. Giggling and petting Sable’s head gently “You know Salsa does the exact same thing....maybe your really a cat hidden in a dog’s body...” suggesting the funny idea to Sable as she closed her eyes feeling relaxed with Hazel’s scratching behind her ear.

Marceline
 Marc nodded, not paying much attention to Storm. The dog seemed guarded and defensive. Just like me, Mar thought to herself. Lark's spring-green eyes bore into Marce's storm-gray ones, and a lifetime of understanding seemed to be shared between them. No one would ever know the dog's story, nor would they get to know the entirety of the girl's, but they both seemed to connect with the other. Slowly and carefully, Lark made her way towards the teenager.

Storm
“Good job Marce” she murmured. She walked to Sable’s run and grinned at her and Hazel as they cuddled. She watched River and Crick. Crick knee River needed comforting, and was providing it. “Do you still not want a dog, River?” She murmured, watching. 

Landyn

Landyn continued to stay at the back of the group as they walked through the kennel that was mighty loud until Storm quieted the dogs. When Storm told him what dog was his, he stopped in front of the pen that she was in. He smirked, thinking it was ridiculous that he had to care for such a dog. The female canine didn't look like much and the soft brown eyes looked like they could melt anyone's heart. "Do I absolutely have to take this one," Landyn muffled, asking himself the own question. He looked around at the other pens that had dogs in them and looked to see if there was some way he could choose a different dog. There wasn't one that caught his eye, not that he cared to have a dog anyways. "Well at least your not some huge dog that will take up the whole place," he muffled to himself and the happy canine in front of him. He hesitantly lifted the latch to the pen, opening it slowly as the canine darted out and immediately began circling Landyn's feet. His eyes followed Sadie, causing him to get dizzy from the many circles that she made around his feet. "Don't we have to keep them on a leash or something," he said aloud, still getting dizzy from watching Sadie constantly circling at his feet.

Storm
She grinned as Sadie went around Landyn’s legs. He was obviously getting dizzy watching her. “We don’t use leashes. You can work with your dogs better without it” she said with a grin. “If all of you are comfortable with your dogs we’ll move onto to the stables to meet your horses. We’ll take the dogs with us” she added. 

Billy
He nodded at Storm’s words about the leashes. “Makes sense, eh Orca?” He muttered to the huge dog. She wagged her tail slightly, watching him with her beautiful, one green and one blue eyes. He smiled down at her. This wasn’t bad at all! He wondered what his horse would look like, and if it would get along with him and Orca. 

Landyn

Landyn sighed in relief as Sadie finally stopped circling and sat in front of him. Although at the mention of the stables, Landyn felt the need to cringe. "Don't you think one animal is enough to take care of," Landyn stated, "I mean this is a lot for someone that has never experienced the responsibility of caring for another living thing other that them self." Landyn didn't enjoy the amount of responsibility of having to care for so many other things than himself and he felt that he might fall under the weight of it all. He huffed at the thought and wanted more than anything than the ability to get out of the crap hole that was this ranch. He had much rather been somewhere else than in the middle of nowhere.

Storm
“I know it’s a lot Landyn, but myself and the ranch hands will be helping with the horses, although you are still gonna have to do some. As for the dogs, from now on the dogs will live with you in your bunkhouses. Just bear with me please, Landyn.” She said. “Alright, everyone and their dogs come out of the pens, we’ll head over to the stables now.” She said, going to the door to the kennels and holding it open for the teens and their dogs, her huge black dog sitting beside her and watching the teens with razor eyes, ready to take on anyone who messed with HER person. 

Billy
He let Orca out of the run and walked out of the kennels, Orca beside him. He eyed Storm’s dog. For the moment it wasn’t a risk, but he wasn’t about to do anything to make it come after him, which he was sure it would at one word from Storm. 

Ivy
Ivy stood up and let Dexter out. He bounced around for a minute, whining happily and wagging his little stubby tail. 

Olivia
She stood and patted Kuzco's head. "You get to live with me, huh bud?" She wasn't at all upset about the idea of sharing living space with this cuddle bug. He licked her hand and followed her out of the kennel. She followed Billy and Orca out of the kennels. "Your girl is beautiful," she said quietly to Billy. Kuzco ran around her legs and thrust his nose into her palm. She grinned at the big dog and rubbed his ears.

Marceline
 Marce unlatched the kennel gate and stepped out. Looking back in, she noticed that Lark hadn't neared the exit yet. She motioned with her hand for the dog to hurry up. Lark glanced around hesitantly, then darted through the open gate. She kept close to the girl as they followed the group, but jumped to the side whenever she accidentally bumped into Marc.

Ivy
As they walked, Dexter never strayed more than a few feet from Ivy, constantly trying to lick her face. "You're such a stinker," she said smiling. 

Alex
"Come on puppy." Alex called, opening the door and holding it open for the excitable little dog, her bounding out, nosing curiously at the ground and chasing after a big black and white dog, pawing at the ground, wanting to play.

Katie
Katie opened the door for Scout and was surprised when he put himself between a tall golden dog and it's ginger haired girl, growling. Where had this sudden urge to protect come from? Katie shushed Scout, directing him to stand at a heel on her other side. "It's alright." She murmured to her dog, shooting the girl an apologetic look and mouthing "Sorry", before following the others. As she walked, Scout circled around her, trying to herd her into a safe spot, and Katie laughed quietly at the fact that if she continued walking, Scout would continue to herd her, but move with her.

Storm
She walked to the stables and rolled back the heavy wooden door with a rusty old horseshoe hanging on it. She stepped into the cement alley. Over the door of each spacious stall a head poked out and watched the teens carefully. There was halters on the horse head shaped hook outside each stall, and western saddles, blankets, hackmoores, and breast collars where placed neatly outside each stall along with brushes. A huge black horse hung out the first stall on the left and bickered at Storm. “Alright guys, before I introduce you to your horses, this is my mare, Phantom” she said patting the huge black horse. “Also, please be mindful most all of these horses are rescues and many have been abused at some time, so try to refrain from quick movements or loud noises.” She said. “Got it?” She added

Billy
“Thanks, your dog is awesome too!” He said to Olivia. He followed Storm to the stables and his jaw dropped as she rolled back the heavy looking door, revealing a long row of spacious stalls, with a horse head watching out of most every one. He grinned as she introduced them to her mare. The horse’s head was bigger than his torso basically! He stopped looking at all the horses and listened as she explained about many being afraid of quick movements and loud noises. “Got it” he replied when she asked if they did. 

Olivia
Her eyes widened when the barn doors opened. A huge mare stuck her head out and nickered. Horses peered at them from almost every stall door. "Understood," she replied. Kuzco sat at her feet and she gave him a couple pats. In return, he licked her fingers.

Ivy
Ivy looked around at the stable. She would be spending a lot of time here. Dexter sat next to her, looking up at her with his tongue lolling out of his mouth.
