art programs

So I plan on getting a tablet either today or tomorrow and I don't know of any art programs. I've always drawn traditional so with a table I'll be trying out digital for the first time, I would need a program that's free and easy to use. Do any of you guys have any suggestions?

Firealpaca works great, GIMP is another popular one though it can be buggy. Both are free to download.
There are more than that but those are the two most used free ones :)

I used FireAlpaca for the longest time and I also used Gimp. I liked both of them, but I now use MediaBang, which if I'm not mistaken is actually the sister program to FireAlpaca. It works great and you don't have to worry about losing your art if your computer crashes or something cause you can save them into the MediaBang Cloud. Also, you can get brushes directly off of the MediaBang Cloud too. You do have to have internet to access the cloud though.

Paint tool SAI is fantastic for lineart, it has a tool specifically for it that I have yet to come across in any other art program. That's really the only thing I use it for, though it does have some nice brush options to make things look a bit more painterly. It is a $50 program though, and hasn't been updated in years so some of the free programs such as firealpaca and possibly mediabang function just as well as it does, excluding the lineart tool of course.

Another free one that I couldn't remember the name of was Krita, I haven't tried it myself but it looks like another nice art program, I've heard good things about it. From the site it looks like it's a bit of a mix between Photoshop, SAI, firealpaca, and autodesk
