So relieved!!!!!

*sighs*

My dog Kolby Jack got struck by a car around 4:10 pm. He was limping, bleeding, and several bruises on his face. I nearly freaked, but managed to keep myself calm, talked to the young man (about 16-18) who had hit him, and then called my vet; who unfortunately was gone for the day and the secretary referred me to another vet in town. I took Kolby over there after making an appointment and they took him into the back to examine him while I waited for the vet to come out to talk to me.

30 minutes later, thankfully no broken bones, just a few bruises, a sore back left paw, and a bit tongue. I was so scared that he would need to be put down.

He's fine, just a bit sore, and some medicines that he needs to be given. I am so relieved.

Glad to hear he's doing okay for the most part ♥ wishing him a quick recovery from the bruises and such! Good for you for keeping calm, definitely a hard situation to think straight with all the emotions. Tell him get well soon for me :)

Oh my goodness! :o Glad that he's okay! I hope his bruises go away and he has a quick recovery. I know all too well the panic of having a dog hit. Thank goodness he wasn't more severely injured! ♥

Oh man I am glad to hear he is okay. I am sorry you had to witness that even if he is okay that is freighting. I hope he has a fast recovery.
