More Variety in Markings

I would like to see more variety in markings. Right now, we have one art per marking (one for TT, one for Tt, etc) and I would like to see more arts per marking.

Personally, I hate it when my horses turns out to be exact same... I feel like I could have a herd of clones DX I became really selective when I am expanding my herd because I don't want to have identical horses.

More arts for markings can bring more diversity in horses and reduce the number of clones.

If you don't support, please explain why!

For each design that is added to the game, that costs Abbey money. There is the ability to add custom horse images at level 30... which I admit is quite a ways away for many of us. I'm 50/50 on this issue. While it would be nice to have variety in Tobianos (say like three different designs of TT and three designs of Tt), I'm not sure the cost would bring that much benefit. The other option might be adding individual markings/spots/patches in layers as facial and leg markings and things like gray and silver are done currently. There are a lot of breeds and different colors, so you could experiment with new colors and breeds so that you get the variety you are looking for. For now, I will say I do not support.

@Demure Abby has told us multiple times not to use cost as a justification to vote against a suggestion.

I personally think it would be an excellent thing to bring into the game. Maybe later once Abby doesn't have a lot of big projects happening, like now. A good side project, I guess.

@ Ðemure, custom horse image is a nice feature...
HOWEVER, you will need to remember that there are people who can't draw or have access to photoshop/GIMP/etc. I will never use custom image because I can't draw and I am not going to waste my money to hire an artist for every single horses I owned. It is not fair to force players to pay money just because they want some diversity and cannot draw.

Also, like RemRem said, Abbey stated clearly that money is not the issue. Please do not bring up the money issue on this because I do not want players to start a money fight on this thread too.

Support. More variety would be lovely. It isn't a high priority for me but it would be nice to eventually see added. :)

is there anything like a program that can use pre-existing art and generate  custom markings on top of a horse art? would be a lot easier then using an artist 

Just a reminder, the custom image option has been removed and you can no longer put them on your horses at level 30... I was so looking forward to this, but I never got to 30 in time to use it. in place of the custom image backgrounds were introduced.

I'm locking this for now because as much as I say don't worry about money, there are about 5 art-centric projects in the line up before I want to make any adjustments to the markings and the topic keeps getting bumped/replied to :)

I haven't forgotten about it, I just want to give the suggestion boards a break from art-related suggestions.
