gypsy pony

I saw someone saying a while ago something about how wouldn't it be adorable if you could have miniature draft horses. (I have no idea who that was now, hence the public post.) Anyway, it turns out gypsy vanners can be quite small, even pony sized! I recently stumbled on this gorgeous boy called Brackenhill Boots, so I thought I'd share. Apparently he matured at a mere 13.3 hands.



Then there is this guy, Wyatt, who is even smaller, at 11.2 hands:



And this confirmed pure gypsy called Galway Boy who measures a minuscule 9.2 hands, but has the typical cob conformation, with tons of feathering:



I thought these were ultra cute, so I just had to share. ♥

On a related note, I wish we could breed for height on EV. I'd start up a line of monster GVs, and a separate one for micro GVs.

Galway Boy is definitely my favourite. He's so adorable!

Wow, I've not seen any quite as small as that last one, he's tiny! I've met a couple around the 14.3hh range and 4 or 5 that were closer to 13hh. I do so love everything in pony size!

These guys are SO cute I can hardly stand it! I've seen plenty of minis and ponies, but never any ponies this little that are still so feathery and drafty!

Only the Wind took the words right out of my mouth. :DDD
