missing foals (not broodmare related)

I have 3 mares that were due to foal today. Same problem as others... mare shows not pregnant, but foal is missing. All studs were mine, and I don't have any locked divisions. Where can I find my foals?

Please have some patience and see if your foals appear tomorrow like all the others have thus far. You can leave the ID numbers here if you'd like and I'll make sure it's followed up on.

Ducky directed me here: as I'm missing a foal and I suppose it'll come tomorrow.

The foal was actually due on March 2nd, but I had to lock my account for 4 days because of so much homework/tests/mid-semester critiques for my four classes. I came back online a few days ago, unlocked my babies, and the foal was supposed to come today; though it didn't and I nearly freaked!

Hi! I'm having the same issues with this mare: ℬ Revolution (#456248).

She was pregnant with through a public stud (I don't remember which horse though.. eep) and had been locked as pregnant. I recently moved her to a different unlocked division and it counted down to the foal being born today. I'll keep a look out over the next few days as mentioned though I'm worried as it was her 3rd foal and it only says she has had 2 even though her tracker says bred 5 days ago so it's not mentioning anything about the foal anymore. It sounds like that didn't happen on other people.

I guess now it is more realistic to not know when the foal is coming as long as the foal arrives lol.

@Feathered there seems to be a foal on your horse so is she all good?

Your issue sounds like a separate issue from the aforementioned bug, I took a quick look at your account and it seems that you have over the horse limit! Try expanding your limit by one to see if the foal appears first, then we'll go from there. It shouldn't have allowed you to do that as far as I know, but my limit is too high to test it all out right now.

In a quick look through your user log records I don't see a breeding for Revolution besides the one on 12-26 to Harrison. are you sure she was bred to an outside stud?

@Sabriel I didn't realize I was passed the limit. Whoops I'll try that now!

Now that you mention it I might have done a second breeding with the same horse, Harrison. I just remember that she was pregnant and locked for a couple months and I just realized it so I unlocked her.

EDIT: No magical appearance when I got under my limit. I'll check back tomorrow :)

Is this problem still occurring? I have a bunch of foals (in this whole division) that didn't appear today on my account but not sure whether I should wait for them to turn up or if they should have been born today.

Are you sure that the foal she has with Harrison was not the one you were waiting for? I just don't see any other breedings with her in your log, I'll have to ask Abbey to take a look.

@maple, from my end the problem seemed to be fixed when both foals were born on the 5th form my pregnant mares, however of the test horses I did with Abbey the two on her account That should have showed up on the 5th showed up on the 7th when she logged in. I don't really know what to tell you now if the problem is persisting. I'll leave a note with Abbey that something with breeding is still wonky though. The mares you have showing look like they're in the same boat as all those before, unless they were locked at any point?

@Sabriel, yes I'm sure. I think it was a second breeding to him. The only reason I had unlocked her was to deliver the foal.

Edit: I also just noticed that my counter says 2 unborn foals only where in my locked section I have 3 pregnant mares so I think one of them also has the same issue.

All of my horses were locked a couple of times with account locking for a few days, and weren't affected by the locking bug since the account was already locked. But I notice both 19yr & 20yr breedings from the horses don't show up in the log (unless that's intentional- I see it only shows for breeding to another players horse) so I'm not sure what date they were bred on but I'm almost certain it was March 3rd or around that date. Outside of that division I have one other homebred pair that didn't show their foal today too. I don't really understand what the bug was, and I'm okay with seeing if it turns up tomorrow as long as it's not longer.

Any updates? If my foal is entirely lost, I have both horses and can breed them again but I don't want to if the one due is going to show up ;)

@Abbey / @Sabriel. I just unlocked a pregnant mare who is due in 5 days (Praline) and the foal showed up today but it still says pregnant for 4 more days. I am also Birchwood Farms so I think that's what happened with me the last time that the foal actually arrived early and I locked the foal and mare but she remained looking like she was still pregnant.

Ok I have another one to check on that I unlocked. The mare is ID#547949 who was due today. Her counter says bred 5 days ago and her foal count is 2 though only one exists on that page. I'll see if the foal appears late.

Update: A second mare ID #539407 should have given birth today and didn't. My missing foal from the first horse is still missing. Both their counters say they are missing a foal but my horse counter says only 1 foal. I think one may appear and the other is lost?
