Ruby Shards!

I absolutely love the new Valentine's Day event with collecting ruby shards and leaving LoveHearts! However, so far I've only found ruby shards from Leisure riding. Abbey told in the News that "All around the game are little events to help you collect a new type of currency," and "They'll pop up anywhere on the game, including Leisure Riding!" This left me wondering: have you found ruby shards from other activities than Leisure Riding? Thank you!

i haven't yet, only in leisure riding

I haven't found any either, other than in leisure riding.

ditto - just in leisure rides.
i do really like all the fun new interactions in rides though; it's much more exciting than "still riding..."

Agreed, Kahzie. ^^ Is it supposed to be like the snowball fight, where you found them allllllll over the site? Or something else?

So I'd assume there are more places to find them at, it just wasn't clearly stated. Maybe we have to find them for ourselves?

I've currently only found them in riding, but here's a quick life hack of sorts:
whenever it gives you the option to explore/dismount/ect., do it! So far, I've almost always gotten shards from that.

From where you convert your shards to hearts.

I've only seen them in Leisure Riding. Like Raptorfang said, dismounting/explore will almost always give you shards.

What are we supposed to do with the shards? How do we put them together? Then what do we do?

RoSnow: you hover your mouse over "news", and click "event". It's self-explanatory once you get there :)

Okay, just going to bump up another old topic...

Just got a Ruby Shard from the item grab today. There isn't anything you can do with it right?

Blodwyn, you might be able to keep it for next year if it wasn't a bug :)

XD might have been one of mine, i discarded all four of my shards when i figured out i could via the inventory manager xDD

What do we do with the ruby shards, the game does say that it is a new type of currency so were do we buy the stuff?
