Charcters Websites

#89891 Posted on 2017-01-29 16:10:06

Just wondering what free websites everyone uses to make their character sites. I have so many I need a little organisation and I want to start writing up descriptions/personalities/short stories for them so I'd like a page for each.

Thanks :D

I tried Weebly but I failed miserably at it.

weebly. It's pretty easy and straight forward. Drag and drop format more or less.

I tried Weebly and I personally wasn't a fan. I decided to just create a character website using Google. If you sign in to your Google account and go to the Google search page you can just search google sites. There is an old and a new version. I like the new version so I can just you give you the link. Here we go:

New Google Sites Version

I've seen people use boards2go in the past, but I don't know if anyone still uses it anymore. It's straight HTML coding, otherwise it just shows up as plain text and it's just a forum set up so you would just make posts for each character.

I've also seen people set up proboards sites just for their characters, that way they can just make a new post to update a plot idea.

I'm a fan of Weebly myself. It did take me a little bit to figure it out, but a few tutorials on youtube could easily show you how.

I would recommend weebly. c:
It's quite simple to use, and it has lots of pretty layouts and options.
Mine for example XD

Wix is also a good alternative to weebly, very similar.

I started off with weebly but it started glitching out on me SO I'm using WIX now and I lurve it. It's the same principle as weebly but slightly more advanced Ithink.

Alright, well I'll have a play on weebly then. See what I can do.

Luna yours looks great! May I ask what "theme" you used?

I started on Weebly but then it started glitching & wouldn't let me access the editing options. Now I use Wix & I love it! So easy to use. I had so much fun designing my site. Here's my site.
