It's my 2-year Equiversary today!

I joined this game on January 18th, 2015. The time went by so quickly, but I feel like I've been playing for ages! It's already been almost a year since the recode officially came. Also, back in my first year (pre-recode) when I could see all the forum boards, I still don't know how I got so much art... since I didn't know the forums existed until over half of that first year was gone! But really though, it feels like the recode happened just yesterday, and it's truly hard for me to wrap my head around that I've been playing for 2 whole years now... even though it feels like I've been 'playing for ages', putting the time into words makes me feel like I haven't been playing that long after all. EV has taught me so much, like all kinds of horse coat patterns/colors, and how to be more polite instead of snapping lol. So take that, parents and teachers that say technology kills brain cells (lol jk)! I've met so many great people, and even found friends... you know who you are c;
My questions for you all are...
1) how long have you been playing? On what day is your Equiversary?
2) what have you learned from playing Equiverse? It doesn't just have to be about horses- it can be anything that you learned/got better at because you were on EV.

I hope to one day make it to that milestone as well, but for now I've got a year and a few months to go.

Equiverse actually got me really interested in genetics, more specifically horse genetics so I'm pretty happy that I stumbled across the site.
