look at my pegos

#86719 Posted on 2017-01-09 17:17:27

so I found this free-to-use pego base... and this happened.
there's actually several more, but these are my favorites/best ♥

an appaloosa thingy

a champagne?

and my most favorite, this ranbow goddess thing ♥ (feel free to suggest a name)

so, what do you think of them? remember, I didn't draw the lines; I only colored them.

(also don't steal them okay I mean don't be stupid)

I like the last one. Just enough color without being overdone. For the first one you might want to make the spots lopsided and different sizes, like a true appaloosas spots would look.

^ I find drawing each spot myself very tedious, and they end up looking horribly ugly. So I used a free-to-download appaloosa spot brush, in which you can't change the size of each individual spot. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

I'm not sure what program you're using but if you look in the brush settings there may be a size jitter that you could try. Not sure if you knew to look for it or not so figured I'd mention it.

^ I'll be sure to look for that! Currently, I can only change the size of the whole brush, so the spots don't really change at all individually.

Yep, that's kind of how size jitter works. It randomizes the overal size of the brush through the stroke (or per each individual tap/click) which then creates a variety of different sized spots :D
Alternatively would be making several strokes(or taps/clicks for more control) using different brush sizes manually but then you might end up with too many spots.
It also depends on the brush, so it doesn't always work but just some things to try if you want to.

Thanks for those downloads Silverwolves, I'll consider checking them out ^^
However, upon looking back at my 2 current appy brushes (by AMillionLights@DA), they already are pretty random when it comes to individual sizes, even though it doesn't look like that on my design.
