Should be able to 'right click' on the picture and select 'save picture as...' and you save it on your computer in your preferred file. When you go to word you can 'insert picture' into your document.

If you're planning to copy & paste from the Word document into a post on here, the picture won't show up that way. You'll have to use the BBCode tags for the picture which means you'll need to upload it to Photobucket or something so you can link to it.

If I were you I would link directly to the horse. You can just copy the link at the top of the horse's page and use the "URL" button on the forum post to add it. For writing it up in Word, that's [*url=LINK]NAME[*/url] without the two *s.

The images for the horses are separated into layers of base coat, patterns, hooves, etc. so I believe you would only get the whole picture by screenshotting and then what others said, uploading offsite. We'd prefer to keep EV's pictures on EV and that's just a lot of work in general, so by linking directly to the horse you are saving several steps. People can click the link if they would like to view the horse. :)
