Mustang Club January 2017 Contests

Hello all, it is Misneach (your newly re-elected president) here! I dropped the ball last month, but this month I am determined to make sure everything runs smoothly and great! This means getting the contests going as soon as possible, and I can't wait to see the horses that the members of the Mustang Club are proud of. As well, this will be the first contests of 2017, so this is very exciting for me that I be the one trusted to run these. I hope I don't let any of you down!

Do remember that you cannot win two months in a row, however this should not be an issue as we have not held contests since October. Because of this, just about everyone is eligible and able to participate in whichever contests they choose.

Any questions, comments, are concerns can be directed to me at any point in time. :)

MASCOT CONTEST
Deadline: January 10, 2017
January's mascot will be randomly selected. To enter, post a link to the horse and tell me it's favorite food. Horse must be registered with the the Mustang Club. Owner must be a Mustang Club Member. Only one entry per member. The winner will be awarded 15k EVD!

HIGHEST CONFORMATION MUSTANG CONTEST
Deadline: January 10, 2017

To enter, post a link to your horse. Stats will be measured on the night of the 11th. Horse must be registered with the the Mustang Club. Owner must be a Mustang Club Member. Only one entry per member. The winner will be awarded 15k EVD!

MUSTANG CLUB BREEDER OF THE MONTH
Deadline: January 10, 2017
October's breeder of the month will be randomly selected. To enter, post your name and tell me what your Equiverse goal will be for 2017. Player must be a Mustang Club Member and actively breed Mustangs. Only one entry per member. The winner will be awarded 15k EVD!

I'd love to enter! Holding off on the conformation contest for now, but I definitely have some contenders for the other two.

Breeder otm:
Ever since I started breeding mustangs because of a very lucky catch in the Rescue Center, I have been trying to breed the highest conformatios possible in my mustangs, and though the 95+ range still poses a difficulty, I'm fairly consistent with 90+ mustangs. For 2017 my goals have expanded, some: trying to add some rare colors to the 90+ conformation and possibly setting up my own lines from a small number of 60+ conformation foundation mares and stallion I'm training at the moment, though that experiment may be abandoned at any point.

Oh, heck - might as well throw myself in for Breeder of the Month.
My goal for 2017 is to create my own line of Mustangs for the very first time. I've already started by buying the starter Foundies. I'm looking forward to the first breeding! I hope to have at least a good line if not great!

For the MASCOT contest..I'd like to enter my girl Only The Wind. She was born with 948 stats and now, at the age of 6, she's sporting 1120 stats, with an amazing stat spread...She only gets green apples or turnips and her treats are alternated weekly to maintain her balanced stat spread.

I'd last like to enter for BREEDER OF THE MONTH
I am currently breeding the 2nd generation to my amazing ff ZZ high confo foundation herd. I've already bred a one of a kind foal with them and my goal for 2017 is to breed many more.
Although, I breed mainly endurance and western pleasure, I've also started foundation lines in driving, dressage and show jumping. My Mustangs are often found in the Hall Of Fame.

MASCOT - Name pending - She is like her mother (Cherokee Flame) and loves her Hay Cubes! :) (will have a name by Friday; a name contest is currently in the works)
Cherokee Flame - Definitely hay cubes, the very sweet-smelling alfalfa ones. :D She'll about bite your hand off trying to get them if you don't watch her.

JANUARY BREEDER OF THE MONTH - My goal is to finally create that perfect Mustang racer.... great stats, great conformation, and a show winner. Bonus brownie points if it's out of my foundies and a pretty color. Hey I can dream! ^^
