I first off, would say find a ton and a ton of tutorials and just gorge lol.

It is a learning curve from pencil and paper/mouse. Do you use it often? Or just some times? because that also could be a factor.

As one of my favorite instructors for photoshop said ( it's true for anyone with a tablet)
"Hide your mouse/ give it to a friend with lock and key and use your tablet like mouse for a while to get the feel of it."

But practice practice practice and also play around with your program.

Well I've used the tablet since Christmas now, and even as a mouse for a few days (my laptop touchpad is messed up) but now I just bought a cute wireless mouse.

I've drawn a few things with it already, but not much since I don't really have much to do....but I have worked with SAI for ages now and even got an even better version of it with neat brushes.

That's sounds sweet! I tried SAI and it just... Well we aren't friends haha.

So I don't know how to help though I really wish that I did. the only advice I can give you is to do a lot of practicing and study anatomy that kind of thing. :) I really do wish I could help further, but I, myself am not that good at anatomy. I just study ALOT of other artists work and learn that way. ( I'm a monkey see-monkey-do kinda learner)
