High Statted Horse Competition! Prizes go to 10th!

I'm starting a competition!
By next month (1/13/17 btw happy new year/christmas/chanukah/however you guys spell it if I don't tell you that later) you need to beat your competitors by having the highest statted horse! You will need to mail me your horse's name if you are competing. Please in that email, list what the current stat is as of that date. Here are the prizes:
1st - You Choose A Horse That You Want And I buy It For You (free expensive horse)
2nd - $15,000
3rd - $7,500
4th - An Arabian Mare of Mine (pick an Arabian mare of miNE that you want, and I give it to you)
5th - $5,000
6th - $2,500
7th - A Unicorn and Black Plush
8th - $1,000
9th - $500
10th - Green and Red Apples

I have some questions:
Is the horse you enter your highest statted horse?
Are you allowed to feed your horse rare treats like peppermints?
Do we tell you everything by posting it here, or by sending you a message?

1.) It can be, or you can start from scratch. Either is completely acceptable :)
2.) Yes - whatever it takes to get the highest statted horse.

Is it how many stats a horse gains or how many stats the horse has at the end?

How many the horse has at the end.

Like, even if I have a Na1 horse at the start, and it doesn't gain a single stat during the contest, it would still win because it had the highest stats at the end? It seems more fair to newer members who have lower statted horses to judge by stat gain.
