Favorite horse breed(s) irl:
Friesians, Thoroughbreds, Mustangs, Dutch Warmbloods, Knabstruppers, Mules (not a breed, but y'know...)

Do you ride irl:
Yes! I have lessons every Tuesdays on my current partner, Sebastian.

Do you own a horse(s) irl:
No :(

What type of riding do you do:
Currently, I do western only but my first barn taught me how to post. My current trainer heard about my future plans to work with horses, and she said that she would like for me to do English with her later on before I leave for college.
Well, we also play some mounted games for fun too.

Do you plan on dong anything horse-related as a profession/do you do a horse-related profession:
Yes, I intend to be a professional horse trainer, and competitor. I'm probably not looking at Olympics level, but I'd really like to be a name in the industry.

Do you breed horses:
No, but I would love to in the future.

Favorite irl horse color(s)/pattern(s):
I am in love with seal brown horses, it's my ultimate goal in life to have one. A tobanio seal brown would be even better.

Favorite horse breed(s) irl: I'll always stick with the typical QH/Paint just because they're so versatile, however I hold a soft spot for Norwegian Fjords since I worked with them forever.

Do you ride irl: I do! I have two horses, however only one is able to be ridden. I will show him this fall in western pleasure, halter, in hand trail, and drill team.

Do you own a horse(s) irl: Yup! Two of them.
Lucy: A 17yo (almost 18) chesntut Appendix QH mare. I've had her for just over 3 years, and planned to show her, but she was pronounced permanently lame a while back so I cannot do much with her. She has a limp but still loves life.
Ton: A 10yo seal bay overo and dominant white Paint/QH gelding. I have had him for just under 1 year, and have already done a lotttt of stuff with him. He was originally a trail/game horse, but since I've had him, he is now a show horse, drill team horse, trail horse, and overall just a pleasure horse.

What type of riding do you do: Mainly I ride western, but I have gotten into some english since Ton was broken english. I do ride western for the most part still, unless it's a terribly hot day cause I don't want to put a big blanket on him.

Do you plan on doing anything horse-related as a profession/do you do a horse-related profession: I'm thinking about it. I might go into large animal science but that's as close as I'll get, probably.

Do you breed horses: Only on Equiverse!

Favorite irl horse color(s)/pattern(s): For colors, I've always loved grullas and dapple greys. For markings, I like splashes and it depends on the color with the markings for me.
For example this is a horse with color that I absolutely adore: here

What a cool idea :)

Favorite horse breed(s) irl: Thoroughbreds!
-
Do you ride irl: Not at the moment because the weather is so crap. It rains constantly and everything is just mud and puddles.
-
Do you own a horse(s) irl: Two :)
-
^If so, what are their ages, names, and breeds: A 17yo brown TB/sporthorse cross mare named Kaydee, and a 6yo mini mare whose colour I have no idea. Some sort of flaxen liver chestnut or silver bay pinto. No idea what her breeding is. I got her for free lol.
-
What type of riding do you do: English. I haven't competed since I was a kid. I'm not a very confident or skilled rider.
-
Do you plan on dong anything horse-related as a profession/do you do a horse-related profession: Yeah. I work on a pretty famous TB stud in New Zealand. I started out doing yearling prep for sales each summer at another famous stud, but now I have full time employment. I used to only do yearlings but now I've done foalings, foal handling, mare vet work, weaning, weanling handling, spellers, and worked about six months at their racing stable. I also work for New Zealand Thoroughbred Marketing part-time controlling some of their social media pages, proof-reading articles/sourcing photos, and I also liaise with their website developers overseas. In what little spare time I have I traipse along to my local track with my camera and take photos of the races for fun. I own a really nice camera now :D
-
Do you breed horses: Not outside of work. I did breed a miniature horse once when I was in high school. Sadly she died suddenly as a 9yo. We think she ate something :(
-
^If so, what breed(s): TBs at work.
-
Favorite irl horse color(s)/pattern(s): Love me a good, rich, dark-pointed bay! Like the stallion Epaulette. Not a huge fan of any white markings, but a nice blaze is always pretty.
