I've expanded my stalls up to 35 and since I only own like 19 horses I figured I could board another one at my own stable but every time I try it says I don't have enough room.

maybe it is because of many unborn foals?

This is happening to me, too. I have 47 open stalls but I can't board any of my new foals there. You're not alone!

Check the number of stalls you have private vs public. I can't remember which way round it is but try making enough stalls public/private and try boarding again.

I tried changing the stalls from public to private and vice versa to see if it would help but I get the same error message. I think there's just a bug in the stable system - especially since I can't kick unpaid horses from the stable or board more horses, haha ^^

I have just now encountered this issue. Cannot board my most recent foal that was just born (why aren't they born already stabled?). Thought I might have legit run out of space so I added 5 new stalls. Set all to public. Kicked out three unpaid. Still cannot board new foal. 'No space', it tells me. Sadface.

I have trouble with the "board only selected horse" option, but it works fine when I choose "board all of my horses." I also have a problem where horses I once owned but sold remain in my stables, and their new owners seem to be able to continue to renew their board, even though I have no public stables. And I don't receive any of the board money.

Ah, interesting. I tried it that way and it worked, I was able to board the horse I'd been unable to board last night (and I had tried earlier today to once again just do it by the 'single horse' option and it would not let me). Thanks for the tip.
