Google has failed me. When I try to look up what this color actually is, I get a lot of horse BLOODLINES with the name Moreno, but nothing on the actual color! Can anyone who is wise in the ways of equine genetics help me out here? What the actual heck IS this color!?

moreno appears to be a horse with the genotype Ee Ata, and looks very similar to a double dilute.

I noticed the genetics too, but it bothers me that I can't find an actual horse that color on a search. LOL

so i did some more genetics digging, and all horses with the genotypes EEAtAt, EEAta, EeAtAt, and EeAta are all phenotypically identical, and are seal brown.

Moreno is what the breed artist referred brown perlino as, so that's what it is in the game. Something is apparently wonky with genotypes, since they're supposed to be double creams.

It isn't a super urgent matter anyway. I was just SUPER curious as to what it was! LOL

I was thinking it was a double cream also, so was a bit disappointed when my moreno mare didn't give me a foal with one cream gene.

I'm hoping Abbey fixes that. Seems to only be happening with the browns. I created 3 custom horses that were supposed to be double cream roans but none of them got the cream gene at all. I created double creams in chestnut, black and bay and they all got the double cream gene...

It's specifically something with the browns for some reason. It'll get fixed.
