Current Projects and/or Plans?

#272835 Posted on 2024-04-10 22:22:53

I'm returning to the game after a long break, as one does. I'm wondering if there are other active players that have breeding plants/projects or certain goals they're aiming to achieve? I have decided to pick up where I left off with racing TBs and driving Friesians. What about the you?

Well, I have one project for most breeds (including Grade Horses), and two or three for some breeds.  My personal favorites are the show jumping Dutch Warmbloods (now on their fourth generation), and the dressage Lipizzaners (I splurged and bought grey tweaks to make them all non-grey).

I have oodles of driving projects, Gypsy Vanners are my main focus. I do have a little group of driving friesians though!

I also have show jumping DWB, racing TBs & QHs, and Western Paints I work with on occassion.

It's nice to see you back!

Hi :) lovely to see so many active projects! I'm working on a line of dressage mustangs, still only on the first generation but beyond excited for babies. I've also just started a bit of a side quest - breeding show jumping banners. Again, first generation and all still foals, but watch this space in a few months lol

Welcome back, Darling!
And ooof, so many projects and probably even more plans xD

On Blodwyn I'm currently having active herds of SJ Welshies (currently breeding for 4th gen), racing Welshies (on my way to the 2nd gen), dressage Mini's (foundations) and a small group of SJ Chincos (also still foundations).
Other than expanding the 2nd and 3rd project, I also have plans to start dressage Welshies and racing Mini's.

Then on my second account Bláth Bán -I can't really call it a spare-, the majority is Gypsy Vanners, lined ones bred for driving. I'm trying to lower the nss with a high confomation on them. Mostly with seal brown base color and trying to get more dun in them and solid.
On this one I also have a group of foundation Welshies for driving. Oh and almost starting my 2nd gen driving Mini's, which I kept as riding school horses, to keep some treats coming in for all the others.
And then majorly collecting foundation GV, as I'm planning to start a foundation project in both driving as show jumping ^_^

So much to do and so little time hihi

Gypsy Vanners!! I don't have enough money to do all the projects I'm dreaming of with them, but I'm focusing on injecting low NSS foundies into my existing line that I've been working on at a snail's pace since high school. I have a ton of neat colors and coat patterns, and I'm working on building up their stats!

I'm just starting out but my project will be leopard Appaloosas in all specialties, obviously breeding only within each specialty. Trying to inject any uncommon colors I can find!
