#270571 Posted on 2023-10-19 21:04:27 Hi All! I'm back from a 2 yr hiatus, and hoping to start becoming active again. Before hiatus I was breeding solid high confo paints.. I'm just wondering what the market is nowadays What are people breeding for? What are more sort after. There was a time that solid paints were hard to come by and people would pay plenty of money for them, so I'm just wondering as I have a fair few in my breeding program. Before the huge change that happened on EV MANY years ago, I was one of the top Swedish Warmblood breeders, but then the breed was cut, I was heartbroken and I got into paints with my friend who was apart of my Sweds breeding program. So what should I be looking for more going forward.. Solid Paints or High Confo or something else? Stats? Discipline? Help a sister out since I am SUUUPER* rusty.* 1 members like this post. #270611 Posted on 2023-10-24 18:10:44 Thanks to everyone who has welcomed me back! I'm going to stick with my breeding for high confo solid paints! Once upon a time they were hard to get since everyone always bred for colour so since theyre special and most of my lines are solid and over 80 confo then I think I'll keep going with it. Since we all know the future of EV is a bit shaky at them moment. Who knows where it will go. Alot of people never returned after the revamp and we all had to rebuild after Abbey discontinued many of the breeds. We adapt well here ;) 0 members like this post.
