Look Look! My First Actual Piece! (I hate it)

Goodness I hate it so much..
I tried making my first-ever natural horse-
But it was ugly and it sucked, lemme tell ya.

I hate it myself.
This is why I remake bases!
I HATE THIS art piece.

I do like the neck it has, the tail, and the ears.
The webbed hair needs to be deleted.
And the head needs to be reshaped as well.

Wait-
Why did I make webbing exactly?
Probably because I love doing this to myself..

I also love the eye design and eyelashes as well.
I could improve this as much as I could.
But I don't usually have time to do this sorta thing.

I'll do it just because anyways.
Alright sorry about the top parts.
I just reject digital art I make..

Like I want to print it and burn it style of rejection.
Or like if I had a boyfriend, this would be it.
Sad to say I'm an AroAce really-
Oops- Eh I don't care spillin' facts!

I'm like a critic for movies, but more tougher and more rejectful!

We all start somewhere Lizzy! For your first time I think it looks great! My drawings weren't any better when I started, but I kept drawing and drawing. I still have a ways to go, but I'm a lot better then I was 4 years ago. Don't doubt yourself. If you keep practicing you'll get better! Art is something that just takes time and patience. Trust me...there's been times were I draw a horse and hate it, but I try again, or fix things. I've also learned that using reference pictures always helps to get the proportions right, and I found that my drawings look better when I'm using a reference. Try drawing simple shapes like circles when starting a drawing. I've always started by drawing circles to get the position and shape of the head, legs, and body. There are plenty of resources you can use to help you as well! Personally they don't work for me, but they just might help you! I have a feeling this is the start of something great!

Ahaha well said then!
I'll keep practicing then!
And thanks I keep forgetting that I can use resources and references to help!

I never learn until someone I know teaches me the right thing!
