Making a Misty of Chincoteague-like Styled Book!

I am very proud of my draft on a site I use a lot more then usual, though I'm not on when I can or have to be, which is upsetting to me because I can't usually make longer chapters unless I take breaks between writing, though I do have a dog to take care and a job I work at. When I want too or can as well.

But I did make a Misty of Chincoteague-styled book! Its going to be called Raindrop's Legend: A Mare and Her Foal Altair, a book dedicated to the author of Misty of Chincoteague and her other Chinco books as well as Stormy; Misty's foal, and many other books alike Misty of Chincoteague and not just the volume!

The author of Marguerite Henry, to come in second place, just behind Black Beauty! The movie Misty was based on the actual book, which is very lovely because I'm making a fanmade book!

I might post the book here as a book as well! I am making Isles of Nowhere a book on my site as well! The site's name as I keep it classified in case something happened, but the site's name is called Wattpad, you can find me on there with loads of 52 books and 73- I mean 74 drafts! Some of the drafts are actually sequels to some books!

But that is all to talk about right now, but I am eager and excited to publish this book and see how it goes! Wish me luck on seeing how many views I can get in a day or more, and wish me luck copy-pasting on here as well! Good thing I can re-paste when I copy to the clipboard!

Just because I was confused; the order of the Misty books is Misty of Chincoteague, Sea Star, Stormy: Misty's Foal, and Misty's Twilight :D This should help with the timeline, as for characters I think you'd have to read them xD already read the first 3 within the past 3 days, will read Misty's Twilight in the morning and give a bit more info on the characters :)

Oh- I already set up my two characters, both are horses, also it's a mare and a filly! See the resemblance of Misty's of Chincoteague and my own book?

But both of my characters aren't like Misty or Stormy, both are different and I can link the Appy Examples of what they'll look like, I couldn't do Chincoteagues with Rain and Altairs coats so I had to use Appy Examples to make everyone aware, and that I already set up what the words are for them and how they act.

I already surpassed 1000 words, I'm actually having so fun here! I might add another couple 100 words so that it just doesn't end off with two human girls, both are based on me and my friend but when we were kids, I'm relatively taller then my friend by which is normal.

Amazing!! How the heck can you write 1000+ words in under 48 hours???

Let me say that I love your writing style, it's just full of your bubbly personality, but what I like to do when writing a book, is I'll kinda study the author's style and... 'remix' it, I guess... so it still portrays characters and locations and emotions like in the old books, but it has my own twist of personality :D Not saying you have to do that, but it'd be super amazing if you did :D Though the way you can put thoughts down into words just amazes me♥

I was really to be born an author and an artist actually, I may not be good but I can still do what I love, and thanks!

I appreciate it as I really do love to write, I can also write 3000+ words in three days-

If I feel like to continue the story a bit, sometimes I get carried away and write almost to 4000 without knowing and then publishing a really long chapter or two..


Hehe but yeah, it's really up to motivation actually, the more something inspiring is in front of me I'll write very quickly and even edit when writing, I have some old Docs I have that I was writing an Assass Class book and even some other ones, but I guess they're forgotten until now!



I may copy and paste them back to their original statures, well I have that one book I did as it was my first one, some people actually liked it but it deserves a make over sometime soon..



Oh and if you haven't heard, I made an announcement on Wattpad stating that I was planning to make 100 books on my main account which has random stuff all over, the background is nice really.

I have so many drafts that I need to republish them or publish them when I get a long break to do so.. Hopefully though..

oh wow, that's quite the plan :D I wrote a story about a dog named Satty and a pigeon named Pidgey as a bedtime story for my little sister xD I also wrote a 3-page story(front and back) in 4th grade about 2 goats on a hill, I think the names I used were Jill and something else... If I may, I'd like to draw all of your Misty characters, then you could color them, so that way the lines are perfect for the characters and you don't have to use free stuff :D

And that would be a darling gift from you drawing my characters! That would be very lovely! And I'd didn't know what to say when they were finished!
They'd look so well done I'd be speechless!

I'd be honored to do them for you!! I'll do them traditionally first so I can work on it this afternoon and use Willow(my 11.2hh bay pony, no idea what breed but somehow has the build of a chinco) as a model, granted she stands still enough as she's quite like the Phantom ;)

But I should tell you my two main characters first.. Alright so the adult mare is a true black paint mare, she has a white marking covering all around her left leg, covering all her tail and mane, her under hind quarter, and dock, and croup would be covered in white just like her back and her lower neck based down onto her chest and a white spliting off under the head.
And even a white part going under the mares shoulder, and even under the barrel near the shoulder, the mares right leg part of it was stuck with white on that spot.
She has brown eyes, but I'd to imagine that she has a blaze or stripe going down her face, and that she has a blue and green eye like her daughter Altair, but reality is that she has brown eyes and no markings on her face.

the foal Altair, was rather a very dark brown or dark brown dun, she had a pinto marking with three stockings to the knees and a sock near the right leg's knees (slockling), but still a little under.
When Altair would hit the sun just right she would look like a chestnut pinto with three stockings to the knees and a sock near the knees (slockling), but Altair had a white splotched tear drop eye marking that covered around her right blue and go down until it broke half way on her right side of her neck.
Altair was a rather special filly, she had a blue and green eye both dark, but when Altair was born with a white splotched tear drop eye marking everyone knew she was special because of that single marking, but she also had the white line that went all the way down to the single middle hair of her tail.
And that's all for my two horse characters really, I can still link the appy examples if you want me too so that you know that you got a reference!

well, I think I can base the markings on all that, but if you could link the references that'd be awesome♥♥ I can sorta picture Altair, but but the left/right/near/hind marking positions are a bit of a struggle :3
