Outlaw
She gave a fleeting grin at his words. “Who’d a thought, Auberon’s kid scared of a 10 year old” she replied. “She’s fine, no big deal.”

Mei
Being grateful for the dark was a foreign feeling to Mei, but as her face grew warm she found herself being glad that nobody could see it. She wasn't even sure how to respond, not wanting to admit her childish fear out loud even to defend her actions. "I was a different form of problem," she mumbled to Penn, feeling it was safer to not acknowledge the whole situation entirely.

Shane
They rolled their eyes and sent a friendly glare at Outlaw. "Yeah ok so being a husband and working for a family made me soft." He shrugged slightly, watching Avery. "I'd still murder people though but Avery seems to just enjoy the idea for the sake of feeling something. That's not a good sign for a quite honestly neglected looking pre-teen."

Outlaw
She stood for a moment looking at him, eyes narrowed. “Is it not normal to kill people in order to feel things??” She questioned. 

Shane
"Oh good lord," they muttered, shaking his head. He glanced at Mei and Penn. "Did your adventure prove useful or have you come back with nothing?"

Outlaw
“Well… we found some things. Not sure how useful they are. But we did find something.” She replied sceptically. 

Mei
Mei nodded in agreement with Outlaw. "They look like new invites, there was one for each of us and I'm guessing you two as well? Shane and Avery."

Outlaw
“Well I spose the next step is follow the new invite, but before we can do that, what do we do with this chap?” She questioned, gesturing at the body. 

Penn
"Bury the body, I guess." Penn hurried to amend his statement. "In a marked grave - so we don't lose it. Never know when it might be useful."

(Error: the timeline was screwed with and now Shane and Mei have known each other since she was born. Please proceed with caution.)
Shane
"Can I just ask- why did I have to be dragged into this? I was trying to live a normal life." He sighed, throwing a rock into oblivion and hoping it hit Aerrow. Oswin was mad that this wasn't detailed enough so here's this revised: he was sweating profusely, having gone without their husband for more than two seconds, completely dying inside and deeply dehydrated. Their skin was clammy and dry, he may as well have been the dead person himself. His BEAUTIFUL BROWN ORBS were watery and tired; their hair a mess of curls bc he gave up straightening his hair after Quinn got mad at him. They'd gone without their service dog for too long and was now on the verge of death, but they kept themself together like a pro because a person with no six pack is stronger than that which has one yes Quinn this person you call your partner could take you down ok that's enough detail. (Also he's 5'10 with smol hands). 

At this point Avery has somehow managed to steal the receipt from Penn. No, I don't know how; don't ask. But it's happened.
Avery's had a realization and is now trying to wander off.
