I have a question. How do you make hay cube and peppermint treats?

You can't craft either. You can get hay cubes from riding school and peppermints from a rare trail riding event... and also I think from when a horse ages, it has a small chance to give you them.

You can also get peppermints form the fountain by wishing for items sometimes. All regular items are possible as rewards for s horse that dies naturally from old age(22 years old).
Additionally you can acquire them from other players in the Marketplace under items listing or trades.
