Layout Coding

Hi there!
I just recently got deluxe and was possibly looking for some help coding my layout!
Nothing huge, I'd just like a couple questions answered (:

I've looked on the w3schools website for a good, general overview of code and how to do it; but I've seen other members on the site with some fancy looking layouts that I just can't seem to figure out how to do.

- How do you change the top of the site heading and replace it with a picture? Like where the equiverse logo & season photo is?
- How do you add images to the left-hand side of the site, where typically account information is found?
- How do you change colors and text boxes of division information?

So, basically; how do you recode essentially the whole webpage? I've seen a couple of members with profiles such as this, and was curious to how it was done.
I'm still relatively new, so don't bash me too much if it's already been asked ahha

While I'm still working on my coding skills- and I can't offer much help, I can offer this forum page by Ulyssess' which can give you a simple little mini-layout in the meantime. :) Sorry, I can't be of more help.

Still looking for someone to shoot me a bit of code or how to do a full layout ^^
