Hello and welcome to the Holiday Horse Contest! In this contest you’re asked to show off your best Holiday-themed horse. Show off your Holiday horse, one with a special decoration or background or just your favorite with a cool holiday name. Additional Category this year for Super Showers! 

Rules
Please post all entries with a link to the horse in question
Any and all decorations and backgrounds are acceptable
Festive names are not required
If you want please tell us all about your horse or pony also!

Princess Frostine
Princess Frostine may look like she has a cold heart, but she has the warmest heart of all. She has dedicated her life to helping young fillies and colts, and helping them go the right way. When she was a young filly, she was spoiled rotten, living the life as a princess, but then when the enemy invaded all of that was ripped away from her. She has had to learn how to survive without all of the maids and servants at her beck and call. She had to grow up, learn how to cook and clean, and sustain herself.

It took 5 years, but the enemy was finally pushed back, and she was able to reclaim her position as Princess, but by this time she had already changed. From being a cold hearted princess, to a princess with a heart as big as her kingdom.

Snow on Christmas

"Snow" like his sire and dam before him has already begun his Holiday mission of bring joy to all those around him. Each year Winchester Manor selects a couple of really special horses to use as Holiday Horses for visitors. They are dressed up to look festive and bring cheer to children and adults! This year Snow is following in his parents' hoofprints and has already had many visitors. This year especially we find that people need happiness and something good more than ever. Snow(he has the perfect temperament for this) will also be trailered to local nursing homes and group homes where visits may be a bit different this year, as residents may not be allowed outside for a visit. Snow will be decked out in his Christmas gear along with jingle bells so that residents who are not allowed to leave their building will be able to watch him out the windows and hear the sounds of Christmas Joy!

Best Dressed - Myst with Christmas Pony - I love the Sandman peeking over the holly bush! 

Coolest Color - Olympea with Snow on Christmas - So many modifiers! On a lovely young horse. this kid could have swept the categories if they were allowed to win more than one!

Most Thematic Name - Tall Oak with Tall Oak Treasure -  a little outside the box on thematic, but we treasure our loved ones during the holidays, so here's hoping all you and yours are as treasured as this little girl!

Judges Choice - Izzy with Princess Frostine - Throwback to my favorite childhood game! I love the name and the decor and of course the fact that she is a Shetland!

Star Shower - Cresent with Quincy - A true star in the show ring! With excellent conformation, great color and a spiffy look. great horse!

Bonus Category: Best Backstory - Olympea with Snow on Christmas - heartwarming, I love it. It also twists my heart in a good way to see he's the son of Christmas Tradition from last year's Happenings!
