Elite Appaloosa Horse Registry

Announcing some new changes to the Elite Appaloosa Registry!

First off, the new club name! The club was previously known as ' The Elite Foundation Appaloosa Horse Registry" or The Elite Appaloosa Breeders Association. It will now be known as the Elite Appaloosa Horse Registry.  I have decided to open up the club registry to include lined Appaloosas who meet the registration criteria as well. The club had previously been restricted to foundation horses only. With the change to included lined horses in the registration, I hope to bring new interest back to the club and make it more inclusive and easily accessible to all players.

New Streamlined Registration Requirements:

I had set very specific registration requirements for 'foundation horses only' in the past and unfortunately, had to reject most of the requests for registration, as I think many did not understand the 'overly restrictive' requirements I had set up initially.

So now.. requirements are much more simplified.. and open to ALL APPALOOSAS, FOUNDATION OR LINED!

1. ALL HORSES MUST HAVE NON SPEC STATS OF 60 OR LESS
2  CONFORMATION MUST NOT HAVE ANY POORS IN ANY AREAS.

** THERE IS NO MINIMUM CONFO , HOWEVER -SCORES CANNOT HAVE ANY POORS**

Club membership is a one time $1000 fee..
Registration per horse $250

I encourage anyone who is passionate about improving the overall quality of the Appaloosa breed here on EV, to come register your horses with us. This will be the ideal place for serious breeder/buyers/sellers to come to to search for horses that meet their needs!

Cheers!

Nss refers to 'non specific stats'.

Non specific stats are the numbers in the areas you DONT want your horse to have scores in.. for example:

If you're horse is trained in western discipline.. You want your highest numbers to be in the speed and intelligence categories.. You want the lowest numbers you can get in the 'non spec stat areas" For western these are: strength, agility and endurance..

example:
Low non spec stats of 0/3/1** you want as low as possibe in these areas for western horses
nss 0/3/1

what you dont want or what isnt accepted for registration; is a western horse with the high numbers in strength, agility and endurance

example. extremely high. non spec stats  104/148/87
104/148/87

So basically, you want to have horses with a total score of less than 60.. in those 3 areas that arent focused on their specific discipline..

these links to  forum topics may help explain it better as well..
