Dapple grays?

#21110 Posted on 2016-03-20 11:34:42

So dapple grays are gone with the recode? Or am I wrong? I really loved dapple gray horses, it's also one of my favourite horse coat colours in real life! Of course I don't want to whine because game is amazing and Abbie did so much work, it's just sad to see that there's no that awesome colour anymore as it's pretty popular and real stunning. :)

Horses go grey with age now. The horse images fade to white by 10 years if the horse has a grey allele. I don't believe breed art for greying includes dapple or fleabitten anymore. It would be moot anyway. Unless you locked the horse permanently, the horse would end up totally white.

Try looking at a silver black roan or a smoky black roan, they are the closest I have found. I too am disappointed there is no "dapple" color.

Yes VOS, I know the greying feature. :) And thanks Sparkles, I'll look through them!

depending on the breed and the age, sometimes they're dapple..

ie. my 9 year old arab.

if you want a dapple gray, Arabs dapple, you can use Freeze Gray on them, but a Sooty gray is the easiest way to go :) if you have a Black Graying Arab, you can freeze gray it anywhere from age 4-14 depending on preference, but it will go white at 15. Here's an Arab at 8
200x150
And here's a fully grayed Sooty Grade Horse
201x150
so they both make dapple grays if you want one :D
