SJCF - Best Partner Bred Foal Contest *Winners*

Hello all!

This contest is going to force us to come together as breeders and partner up with one other member of the club to breed the best foal possible. There will be multiple categories to breed for giving you and your partner multiple opportunities to come out on top. Please read below to get an idea of what this contest is going to entail.

Best Partner Bred Foal Contest

You and one other member of the SJCF will partner up to breed the best foal you can to top multiple categories: 

Most Extravagant Color and Pattern Combination

- The foal with the most complex combination of color and pattern genetics will win. The horse search will be used and your horse's exact genotype will be input into the search, the horse with the least amount of chincoteagues throughout the entire game that have the same genotype as them wins. The horse with the second least amount of total chincoteagues with the same genotype wins second, and the same formula applies for third. Using this method, all three horses tied therefor I have come up with a less specific method for finding a winner. Each foal's color genetics will be put into the horse search, the horse with the most rare color will receive 3 points, second most rare receives 2 points, and least rare receives 1 point (rarity is found based on how many chincoteagues have the same color as each foal). Then, their marking genetics will be totaled together - 2 points for each homozygous marking genetic, 1 point for each heterozygous marking genetic. After adding all points together, foals will be placed.

First place prize: 50k per partner (100k total)

Second: 25k per partner (50k total)

Third: 10k per partner (20k total)

Best Overall Conformation

- The foal with the highest overall conformation will win.

First place prize: 50k per partner (100k total)

Second: 25k per partner (50k total)

Third: 10k per partner (20k total)

Lowest Non Specialty Stats

- The foal with the lowest amount of non specialty stats (strength, intelligence, and endurance combined) will win.

First place prize: 100k per partner (200k total)

Second: 50k per partner (100k total)

Third: 25k per partner (50k total)

Best Overall Foal

- To summarize all of your hard work, this category takes in all the information from the above three contests and comes out with ONE overall winner.

First place prize: 5 EVC + 250k per partner (10 EVC + 500k total)

(all prizes added together total up to 10 EVC + 1,190,000 EVD - donations to help fund the prizes are appreciated, but prizes will primarily be coming from my personal funds)

Rules

1. Admins/myself may not participate

2. You cannot be partners with more than one member. If a member is left without a partner, admins wishing to participate may partner with ONE other member and I will partner with all of the other remaining singles.

3. Before breeding your foals, you must submit an official pairing between your partnership. One partner must use one of their stallions, the other partner must use one of their mares. You may NOT breed test foals before submitting your official pairing. Once you've submitted an official pairing, it cannot be changed. Parents can be either foundation or lined horses so long as they are registered in the club (this means you should choose your pairing wisely and strategically).

4. DNA tweaks, coat applicators/randomizers, and marking applicators/randomizers may NOT be used.

5. You may only enter ONE foal, but you may breed as many foals as desired before selecting your entry foal (offspring limit does not apply to any horses being used to breed a foal for this contest).

6. You may do whatever you wish with other foals you breed for this contest that you do not end up entering - selling or trading them to other club members is highly encouraged to increase market activity.

7. You MAY use breed again solutions

Timeline

Player partners must be submitted (through PM to this account) by September 1st

Horse pairings must be submitted by September 8th

Breeding period starts on September 9th and ends September 22nd

Official foal entries must be submitted by September 23rd

Winners will be announced September 24th

S'more I just picked up this guy for the contest (just waiting on his registration to be accepted) as mine are still a tad too young to breed just yet. If anyone is intrested in pairing up with me. Or if you see another one of my Chinos you'd like to pair up with we could do that too :)

hey all!

as excited as i am for this contest, we unfortunately only have one team entered for the contest and therefor cannot continue if more players do not participate. i have decided to change the first two deadlines and combine them, therefor player partners and official pairings now have until september 8th to be submitted. if on september 9th we do not have at least 3 player pairings, the contest will unfortunately have to be canceled. there is over 1 million evd and 10 evc to be awarded in prizes for this contest, so please participate! even if you do not show or have time for your horses everyday, as long as you communicate with your partner and breed together on the correct dates there is no reason you can't participate! i am doing my best to come up with things to participate in for the club but without any player activity the club will not thrive, so please join us!
