Breeding Fees

#179554 Posted on 2018-07-19 10:03:17

I have finally gotten to the level I can breed my horses, but I'm still  pretty new to the game and have no idea what I'm doing.  I'm suppose to put a breeding fee if I want to public breed my horses, but I have no idea what fee to charge.  Can someone please help me figure out what fees to charge and any breeding help I may need?

How I figure the fee it depends on the horse’s colour and how wanted the colour is, the stats and if their discipline is very common, and the confo. I usually just do $500 per horse, $1000 for a very good one, but it really depends on how much the person thinks. Feel free to PM me anytime with questions though, I’ll help you out however I can. :)

If you're trying to tell how best to price your studs or broodmares, you can use the horse search to find horses similar to yours (breed, stats, color, conformation) and see what other players are charging for a breeding.

You can also decide things like how many foals you want your horses to have, or how young you'd like to have your horse be bred.

There are MANY different playing styles for the game, so finding the one that's the most fun for you will also affect how you price studs/which horses you offer for public or private breedings/how many foals you want each horse to have/how soon to breed them/etc.

Have fun!

Thank you for all your help.  I'm still feeling my way through the game and fear I'll make mistakes.  Today, I've decided, I've probably already making mistakes and since I'm thoroughly enjoying the game, I won't sweat the small stuff.  :0)  You are all awesome, thank you again for helping me along this journey.

There’s no mistakes really, just find what works for you and go with it. :)
