After you reach a certain level of money, are you allowed to collect interest anymore?

A little puzzled and not sure if this is a bug with progression or because I have over $50 million in my account.

if you have over $50 million combined in both your bank account and your in-hand money, you can no longer collect interest. Β it’s to stop people from amassing ridiculous wealth, i suppose, since there’s really no need to have more than that :p

Oh my goodness! How did you get all that money! XD I can barely keep 2 million without spending it all within a month on charries and horses and other things I don't need..... hmmmm... maybe that's why I'm not rich lol
