#172693 Posted on 2018-06-02 23:19:29 He looks pretty good! Really great work technically. However, I'm looking at pictures of the character he's meant to be and I'm just not seeing the resemblance. I can't quite pinpoint it. I think part of it is that I'm not really getting any emotion from the image. I want art that makes me feel something. I'm not sure what this piece of art is supposed to make me feel, and that makes it difficult for me to praise it more highly. 0 members like this post. This is a commission for someone else, who is quite happy with his emotional expression. In fact, she wanted it exactly this way. She gave me a picture of Brenton Thwaites, not Henry Turner that she wanted me to recreate. You can see the ref at the top. She wanted him in Henry's clothes, but this look and expression, and especially the way his hair falls in the pic. I'd say I quite captured that. I do not remember asking for critique because you don't 'feel' something, so please, don't give that to me, the picture is coming out exactly as requested. 0 members like this post.
