#169214 Posted on 2018-05-01 23:35:55 So... I started digital art... 4 years ago? And I will say I have gotten better over the years, at least I think I have lol. After about two years, I finally gave up on trying to draw a horse; goodness me I didn't do very well at all: Gorgeous I know (s a r c a s m) But regardless, I decided to start tracing (yes, please keep in mind I follow all the rules of tracing and using references and all that, unless it's three in the morning and I can't remember to do that whoooops), and along that road I was hoping I would be able to get the general form of a horse; I guess that hope came true. Anyways, I decided today to take a go at both this darn wacoom tablet (I love it) and no reference. Can I just- like? What even happened? I'M SO HAPPY RIGHT NOOOOWWWWW Yes, I know it isn't perfect and it still sucks, but it's just a rough draft. And tbh, I don't actually keep the lineart on my photos; they're more of just nice little borders, so it'll look better when I'm done doing the actual horse. BUT AINT IT PURDY???? This is the first digital painting I ever did, the colour is SO horrifically off it's not funny (I 100% blame that on the crummy laptop I was using on the couch while nursing a sprained ankle lol) And this is so far my absolute favorite painting of mine that I've ever done 5 members like this post.
