Death

I feel as though i've read it somewhere before, but can't remember where or how to find it again.... 

When do horses die of old age? Can they even die of old age? The third horse i've ever owned (and my olded horse) is 20 almost 21. 

horses die anywhere from ages (20-23).

When horse is 20-21, it is retired. It dies about 22 years old.

When they retire, are they able to still breed or not?
