ADN Degree?

I'm apparently at that age where college will be coming up, and oh my, I should probably figure out what I want to do with my life, and get my grades straight. *Applauds myself while crying*
For like the past, I don't know... four years? Okay probably more like two or three, I haven't had Health in school. This year I finally got it back (unfortunately only for half the year though. The other half was Geography) and it made me realize how much I actually love the medical field. So, after my dad actually convinced me that I should go to college (actually he just told me I would be going, and then after saying "no" and just hearing "you'll change your mind" so many times, I decided to consider it), I thought about what I would want to do. I mean, no point in going into debt for something you don't enjoy right? So I looked at my small options.... Digital art (I need help lol). But as much as I love art, I wouldn't go to school for it.

I think if something interests you, go ahead and keep it as an option.
Remember, if you decide you don't want to do something, you can always change your mind.

The first two years of college/university is mostly general education requirements, if you use them wisely you can test the waters of subjects you think you might like. And it's never too late to change your mind if you find a new passion. If you really think nursing is something you're interested in talking to people working in the field or working on their degree can be very useful. They'll probably have tips on what classes are most beneficial and they'll be able to help you compare the many different nursing programs which all have their pros and cons.

Anyway whatever you choose to do just don't put too much pressure on yourself. My biggest mistake in college was pushing myself too hard scholastically, I was a huge walking ball of anxiety for four years. In the end as long as you're doing your best take pride in your grades no matter what they are. ;)
