I know I haven't really been all that active around here, but I would just like to thank all of the senior artists (those both present and no longer a member) for teaching me and many others digital art!!

for my most recent "fun edits"

My Website

Little 12 year old me did not realize how much digital art would really come in handy until now; now that I'm focusing a lot more on my photography. So lets see all of you and your photography!

Editing/digital skills definitely come in handy! I still remember things from various manip tutorials I did way back in the old EV days haha.

I wouldn't say I am a photographer; I don't really know what I'm doing haha. Definitely a hobby, and I'm still learning. I shoot mostly snakes (the only way they should be shot tbh). If you really want to see, feel free to message me.

You are amazing! I love the animal ones. I don't do much photography but who knows what's in store for the future?! ;)

@Outlaw: Thank you so much! It means a lot c:

@Gaiaphage: Don't be! I definitely was at first but I love sharing them because it's so satisfying seeing my own progress, and everyone acknowledges it too!

@Culebra: Awesome! I have a couple shots of a garter snake but that's all. Sounds fun!

@Io: Thank you, animals are my favorite to photograph. You can always start! c:

Your photography just gets better and better! Very crisp and clear; as well as creative! All very important aspects and you've nailed them effortlessly! I'm so proud of you!

Lovely shots! Wish I could do more portrait stuff, I just don't have the time or location access. What do you shoot with? I've got a Canon 7D Mk II and a 70-200mm f/2.8 IS USM II lens :)

@Sib: Thank you so much!!

@Valkyrie: I use a Nikon D3300 with kit lenses, mainly my 55-200mm. I can't afford to upgrade at the moment but I wish I could! I don't do much portrait either but I want to get more into it.

You do really well with the kit lenses! I used to shoot with a Rebel T3i and kit lenses, mostly a 55-250mm, and it was difficult haha.

I mainly do horse racing or mares/foals. Here's a link to some of my faves, hopefully it works lol

@Valkyrie: Thank you!! A professional lens would definitely help but I'm a firm believer in technique is in the photographer lol. I shot a couple races once and it was so fun, despite it being about 30F and raining but it was so cool to see that side of the horse world. I'd love to see yours, no link though? :p

@madoka: Aww thank youuu! I actually want to go into large animal veterinary science with a possible minor in music, but I would love to do this as a side job, kind of like I am now but with more business lol. Those are the first and only senior photos I've done so far so I'm so glad you like them!

UPDATE:

Nothing like a winter storm turned to blizzard! Up in Wisconsin here Blizzard Evelyn is hitting my area the hardest. Our total snow is over 30 inches (for 2 days, mind you), and the drifts are definitely towering over 3 ft.

Many people can't get to their cars, so no work, schools are cancelled, and county roads aren't plowed.

Needless to say, it's wild!

So, what else do you do when you can't get the car out? You bring out the snowmobiles!

(That your dad just "summer-ized" and put away...)

Thanks Wisconsin.

So here we are, featuring my own brother!

Oh wow, those look awesome!!! My Dad taught me how to snowmobile this winter, I’m now an expert at tipping them, not so much the driving part. The snow was so deep and fluffy it just went plop right over, or at least in my case. XD

That's awesome! I've been driving since I was like 5, but tipping it is definitely easy in the fluffy snow!
