+ Discussion: Featured sales, studs and broodmares+

All registered clydesdales will automatically be put on the club's sale and stud list. However, there isn't any real quality control for these horses. I am creating a "featured" list on the club's page were you'll be able to find the top quality sales, studs and broodmares.

The requirements for making it onto this featured list are up for discussion.

At the moment I'm thinking:

• Non-specialty stats under 60


• Conformation at least 58%


• Minimum age for stallions: 17


• Minimum age for broodmares: 15


• Minimum stats for studs / broodmares: 800


• Minimum stats for sales: 

                      - Foals 0-3: 450                      - Ages 4-6 : 500                      - Ages 7-9: 550                      - Ages 10-12: 600                      - Ages 13-15: 650                      - Ages 16-18: 700                      - Ages 19 - 21: 750  

I just started breeding Clydesdales and recently joined the club. Have to say at least the requirements for foundations are much more lenient than some other clubs. I doubt I will be able to contribute for a long time, but I'm raising a line of western horses!
