SPC's Holiday Happenings!

Hello and welcome to the SPC's Holiday Happenings post! We've prepared a few fun things to do this holiday season Some events will only be accessible for cub members but others will be open to all of EV in order to spread the Holiday cheer! 

We're still working on setting everything up! But please ask questions if you have them!

Open Events and Threads
These events are open to all members! There may be special deals for SPC members specifically.

On this Thread:
Tell us about your favorite winter thing to do with your horse or pony! Don't have a pony? talk about your favorite Christmas movie! Or better yet do both! 

Closed Community Wishlist and Giftapalooza - A community event hosted by SPC. Send and item or 500EVD to the SPC(or Sabriel), and post a wishlist following the guidelines. Sabriel will be granting small wishes for each user and randomly selecting members for more expensive items and art from her stash o' stuff. Any user is allowed to gift members as well!  Closed Dec 24th

Closed Free Holly Tags - A re-release of a very old free Holiday tag by Sabriel, colored by Sab. Limit 2 per person. Base available for unlimited recolors for nominal fee. Closed Dec 24th

Closed Shetland Holiday tags - A special Shetland base with wonderful Holiday Decorations! These tags will be sold at a discount to SPC members. Closed Dec 24th



Club Only Events
These events are only open for SPC club members, there may be some other stipulations about actually owning Shetlands for some events.

SPC Holiday Raffle - A raffle for the money raised from the Shetland Holiday Tags and donations from some wonderful donors and yours truly. This will certainly be a raffle to remember. Closes December 31st

Holiday Coloring Contest - Open until the 5th of January with voting until the 12th of January. We will have prizes for member voted 1st-3rd, as well as some special rewards for Most Creative, Best Effort and Judge's Choice. Just color in the lineart or use the pre-blocked psd any way you'd like just do the horse or get fancy with a full background. The possibilities are endless! Closes January 5th

Mascot Contest - This month we're going to do a 'Shortest Shetland' mascot competition! For this one, all you need to do is send in your Shortest pony and the winner will receive 50k! Second and third prizes will get 25k and 10k respectively. Winners will be chosen by admins and this contest will end on the 31st of December. Closes December 31st

*First off what I enjoy doing with my pony and horse in the winter is run through large piles of snow tackless! I also have my pony letdown and then she played in the snow! :D

* For a club event I feel like we should have an exchange of gifts... like lets say someone has lots of art or does art the can give a gift to someone who can't/doesn't do art! Then if you collect a specialized breed of horse another breeder/owner could give you one of their horses and vis versa

Running through the snow sounds like fun! I don't get snow where I live so it's just mud in the winter :/ Definitely not fun to run through and even less fun to clean up!

Holiday tags are well underway and the Community Wishlist is filling up! I'll be sending out small gifts later today and tomorrow after work we'll draw some names to receive some bigger prizes! 

In even better news out raffle pot for the SPC exclusive raffle is filling right up. I and our admins will be sorting out the details and getting things ready shortly!

Hello SPC members and onlookers! Our Open events are all closing up today, so get any last minute orders and wishes in before tomorrow. Our member only events are just getting started really though so please check those out if you're a member, we've got amazing prizes in our Raffle, a fun coloring contest and a cutesy mascot contest for the shortest Shetland!
