This topic consists of the Western Dun Horse Registry's Handbook, and FAQ in regards to the buzzing community within the WDHR. Refer to this topic when you have questions, or are curious as to how something works in the WDHR.



The Western Dun Horse Registry: Official Handbook
I. All members are to treat other members with respect. Slander, inappropriate comments, and things of the like about other members or their horses is not tolerated.
II. Be active within your community. Don't be afraid to reach out and join in the fun with the other WDHR members!



Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. May I join even if I do not focus on/breed Western dun horses?
A. Sure! All we ask is that you are an active part of the community!

Q. If my horse is trained in Endurance can it be registered?
A. No. We are a registry that western specialty specific. 

Q. Can my Clydesdale be registered?
A. No. The Western Dun Horse Registry only registers horses that show the dun gene. Since Clydesdales are unable to express dun they are not eligible for registry. We also only accept traditional western breeds (Appaloosa, Morgan, Mustang, Paint, and Quarter Horses) that are western specialized. 

Q. How can I advertise my horses?
A. Visit our Advertisement Thread. Here you can display your horses for sale, stable events, etc., but please be sure to read the rules for the thread before posting. Those are there to prevent non-advertisement clutter.

Q. Why are there no current events?
A. As of 7/9/19, the club is new and developing. Once the club reaches a good number of members we will hold contests.

Q. Where can I go to discuss with other club members?
A. Our [ LINK ] is open to club members to converse about anything they desire, even RL stuff such as animals, etc.

Q. What does it take to be an admin for the WDHR?
A. Admin positions are open to only people dedicated to the desire to make the dun color community as a whole better. We pride ourselves in having admins who are kind, respectful, and willing to assist. Our admins typically know a lot about Equiverse, and have been around for at least three or four months. Admins on our team are mature, and capable of assisting in all types of situations.

Q. How can I be an admin for the WDHR?
A. You must apply when admin applications are open. See the Admin Center to apply.
