Which Breed?

#114865 Posted on 2017-07-19 11:32:25

I know this is overdone, buuuuut

I want some more foudie horses. I'm tempted to get more paints or GVs but I must have nearly 100 paints, and over 100 GVs across my accounts, lol.

I want something for colour, but I don't want to get back into mustangs. I have a few Appies, but they're mostly a side breed and I don't want more than I have. I'm not really a fan of small ponies either hehe

any suggestions?

I'm slightly biased but you should breed endurance quarter horses. They have a nice variety of colors and patterns and I would love a fellow endurance breeder.

I've tried QH's and just couldn't get into them, but I may try them again though!

I have a few locked on a side account lol

Tennessee walkers. It seems that there are a handful of dedicated breeders, they have a ton of color variety as well!

TWH are fun, I started them myself and I like the variety in the markings and colours.

Another one I suppose you try is Mustangs, cause they have some pretty varied genetics. You could also try playing around with the custom horse creator to see which breeds have what colours etc and see if that helps you decide.

I just started a small herd of TWH aswell...

If you're just interested in colour...trakehners come in the double creams and TT and roan..I have a whole brand new herd of cream dilutes..just because I love the artwork and the colours..

Andys have some nice colours...however not much in terms of patterns...

Morgans too...nice colours...nothing in terms of pattern but  ff, ZZs...double cream dilutes..

I have a lot of Trakehners, a few Andies already.

I used to breed Mustangs, but I just don't think I want to get back into them. I have a few TWH's on a side account.

Hmmm.

I may go for Appies, try QHs again, or go for some more TWHs hehe
