Trying to do addons?

Yup, look at crappiness

So yeah. I tried to do a necklace... I realize that the shading totally sucks. I need to work on that. And I kinda forgot hot to use the paths tool for awhile*looks down shamefully* But other than that, what do you like, dislike, want to see? Thanks!

I like it! I agree the shading looks lovely, but it looks like maybe you colored the necklace in on the same layer of the necklace lineart? If so, maybe add another transparent layer UNDER the necklace lineart to color it in so it looks smoother :)

My bad, I have horrible eyesight. Is the black outlining parts of the necklace just shading? and not any sort of lining?

Ahhh, well maybe that's your problem. If you add a bit of lining it might make it look smoother, and for the shading maybe put the blur tool (the little blue raindrop if you use GIMP) on a low opacity and run it over the entire thing gently to blend the shading together nicely. That's what I do when shading a horse's eye.

Nice job! I agree with what others have said above, shading makes it pop!
