With summer officially here, it's time to register for summer camps! Among the long list of local summer camps is Diamond Creek Stable's annual summer horse camp. Here, high schoolers and college students who love everything about equines are encouraged to broaden their knowledge of the horse world, and also make friends and make memories. Diamond Creek Horse Camp consists of a horse for each camper to bond with and ride over the three-week period, tons of activities - both horse-related and not - and so much more! Personality: Elvis is a kind-hearted, lovable old soul. Sometimes it's as though he's a wise, elderly man trapped inside a 21-year-old's body, and that's how he likes it. Elvis is always reaching a hand out to help others and is a hard worker when it comes to getting things done. He's easygoing and will befriend pretty much anyone.
Appearance: Elvis has a rather tall, lean figure, standing at about 6'3". His skin is fair, though slightly tanned by the sun, causing his typically faint freckles to stand out along his arms and face. His brilliant light blue eyes are complimented by his long, very dark brown eyelashes and medium-short-length, equally dark hair. His wardrobe typically consists of a flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled up, worn out working jeans, and his sentimental black cowboy boots.
Biography: Elvis was born and raised on his family's old breeding farm, where they bred quality Quarter Horses. Being an only child and surrounded by horses, Elvis had a pretty great childhood, and his life was pretty much perfect. It still is. He's a confident rider who, every now and then, competes in the local rodeos and takes to the trails when the weather is good.

Personality: Cheyenne is sugar and spice and everything nice, emphasis on the spice. She can be sweet as apple pie one moment, but if you mess with her, she'll give you hell on earth. Needless to say, she's very strong and knows what's she wants. She isn't afraid to stand up for what she believes in, and she'll do it whenever she gets the chance.
Appearance: Cheyenne has a petite build, standing at about 5'1". She has slightly pale skin, with faint freckles sprinkled across her nose and cheeks. Her eyes are a vibrant hazel and her hair falls in strawberry blonde curls down to the small of her back.
Biography: Cheyenne had a tough, yet interesting, childhood. Her young life was filled with travelling all over the world for her parents' work, and she enjoyed it. All of the new and exciting sights were amazing. But when she was about 13, her parents divorced, but for good reason. Though she'll always still love her father, she understands why her mother left him. But besides all of that, she was brought up around horses, though never really got comfortable in the saddle. She's eager to learn more this summer at horse camp.

Personality: Nat is what others would call short tempered, and hot headed. For the most part, he is a nice, smart boy who can get along with plenty of people, but if you even look at him wrong, he won't hesitate to call you out. Simply saying something he considers dumb will get a rise out of him. Besides horses, the only other weakness he has is young girls. He tends to feel more guilt when screaming at girls, and doing so causes him to hurt his own pride. On his good days, he can be quite silly and goofy, and known as the class clown.
Appearance: Nat is a bit shorter than the average boy his age, standing at a good 5'5 (a fact that is a bit touchy for him). His slightly darker skin is tanned smoothly, showing off his pure Spanish descent. On the top of his head a soft pile of wavy hair that is growing a bit shaggy, the curls reaching down to the nape of his neck. Between his hazel eyes is an annoying curl that forces him to put on a headband occasionally. His body is a strange lanky kind of muscular, and his legs are rather long for his height, but it ended up landing him a spot in track.
Biography: Left on the doorstep of an orphanage as a newborn, Nat has never really met his real family. However, he was quickly adopted into middle class family at the age of two. It wasn't until the beginning of his high school career that he realized his love for horses during a field trip. His family couldn't afford the money to do regular horse riding lessons, but this trip to the horse camp has been his birthday present.

Age: 18
Personality: Basically, she is a hardcore, quirky introvert. Nakki will not speak unless she finds a real reason to, and whenever she does, it sounds very formal and distant. Sometimes she will speak up with some emotion, but good luck seeing that. Unless she is talking to an animal or someone she cares about, you won't hear it very often. She has a constant hunger for food, typically fruit, and can be very competitive (in a monotone kind of way). She loves reading books, and will likely warm up to you if you buy her one of any kind. She's brutally honest, and not ashamed of it, and it takes a lot to offend her. She's like a robot... who lowkey loves hugs...
Appearance: Nakki is actually kind of tall, standing at a good 5'10. Her skin is very pale, almost like she's never seen the sun before, but it contrasts well with her raven black hair that falls down to the middle of her back. She has rather long bangs that always find a way into her blue eyes. Her body is a straight pole kind of slender, very few curves on this girl, but she is grateful for it cause it doesn't interfere with her riding.
Biography: Nakki doesn't have much of a story as she has lived a rather boring life. Her father is in the military, which unfortunately plays a big part with her antisocial behavior. They constantly move every few years so she doesn't bother making too many friends (with the exception of horses). Her mom works at local grocery stores as much as she can, so Nakki is always home alone by herself. She started riding when she was ten years old, her neighbor at the time invited her over to help out with the barn. Every since that moment, she knew that horses were going to be a huge part of her future.

Full Name: Quincy "Quinn" Vaughn

Personality: Quincy (goes by Quinn) is definitely a one of a kind person, but not really in a good way. Most people label him as an arrogant, spoiled, cocky, rude, stuck-up, rich kid, and people who say that about him are exactly right. He takes everything for granted, and doesn't give anyone respect. He wants what he wants when he wants it, and don't try and get in the way of that. No matter what happens to him, he still thinks he's better and you are less of a person because of that. He's also been known to mess with people's feelings, especially girls who fell for his looks. He loves to win, and will do anything to win (right or wrong).
Appearance: He has a pale face, but tan arms and legs. His eyes are gray with blue near the pupil. He's got dark brown, medium length hair that's straight. While not being the tallest, he stands at a good 5'8' and is fairly muscular, but lean. He doesn't have the longest legs, but his body is relatively proportional. It's easy to spot him in a crowd, usually wearing the most expensive popular clothes. He has very little freckles, and has a sharp jaw line. Many people are confused seeing Quinn with his family, because he looks almost the exact opposite of everyone.
Biography: Quincy Vaughn, or Quinn, was born in upstate New York. Because he was luckily born into an extremely rich family, Quinn has no understanding of hard work or anything of that sorts. From a young age, he has ridden horses at some of the most famous equestrian centers in the world. While he believes he's the best around, he's not actually what he says he is. There are many riders who are a lot better than him, but he chooses to believe he's better. Now much older, he decided to come to this camp because he believed he would be trained by the best coaches.

When meeting her at first, many people think she's a shy type of person, but as you get to know her, she becomes loser and opens up to you. A competitive person by nature, she's always driven to work as hard as possible no matter what. She knows when to be focused, but also enjoys having a few laughs to break the seriousness.

The moment she arrived on the farm, she fell in love with the horse, and has had a passion for riding horses ever sense. She train horses for all different types of jobs and sells them to help out her grandparents, because her grandparents invest a lot into their Thoroughbred racing program. This year, her grandparents decided that she should have a break and decided to send her to this summer camp.

Personality: Cam is a very happy-go-lucky kinda gal. She is always the one having fun in any situation, and is incredibly outgoing. She is usually the drama queen of the group, but can always be serious and tone it down when needed. Since she is relatively new to riding, she is shy and quiet when in the ring but loves to take on any challenges.
Appearance: Short and stout at 5'6", she is well muscled but agile for her size. She sports medium-length red hair which is accompanied by a good amount of freckles as well as intriguing light blue eyes. You can find her in jeans and a t-shirt most of time time, along with a messy bun and boots.
Biography: Cameron grew up in a small midwestern town in which horses were a main fix at each homestead. She lived with her two parents and 4 horses, though her parents would not allow her to work with them. As horses can be incredibly dangerous, Cam's parents restricted her to other farmwork. Once she graduated high school, Cam moved out and went to college. There, she enrolled in the equestrian team as well as lessons outside of the school. There she learned all aspects of riding, and advanced in her equine knowledge even to the point where she decided to minor in large animal sciences.

Personality: Mr. Tyren Milworth can be a serious guy, as he was brought up to be one. Though he rarely lets himself completely relax due to the constant goal of perfection, there are some rare moments when he lets himself go. He is reserved and observant, leaving the talking to other people. Not shy, but preferred not to talk. He realized you can learn more from someone by simply sitting back and watching, rather than taking charge and demanding personality. His personality developed around horses and how he treats other humans is how he treats horses. Always be gentle even when you feel like using your strength. Always relax when you feel like blowing up. He never really lets his emotions out.
Appearance: He is quite lengthy, 6'2 with tanned skin from much work out in the sun. His soft brunette hair never perfect, because who would show up at a barn extremely perfect? His face soft and sweet, except his striking jawline and narrow green eyes. He is quite built, muscles building up his arms and his legs from labor on the farm for so many years.
Biography: He was from a family that consisted of five children all Eventer prospects, growing up at a stables under the Milworth name. These stables prided themselves on the babies they produced: athletic warmbloods with long legs and thick bodies. All five children were brilliant riders, but only three stuck with it, one being Tyren. Because of Tyren's calm, steady ways, he was the one who worked and trained the babies, thus becoming a skilled and experienced rider. As he got older, he was handed offers on training other horses, that becoming his main source of income. (As you can tell, he doesn't have much of a social life)

Personality: Genuine, the sort of person who's sometimes honest not just to the point of blunt, but to the point of harsh but you needed to hear it. He likes to say he takes what he gives out, but the truth is he struggles with criticism and his own self-assurance sometimes. A panicker, naturally, he at times appears shy or introverted but the truth is he's just quiet and was raised with the firm belief that people with a lot to say don't often have much of any value to say, but that said he's very bright and bubbly, and bold, underneath it all. The type of person to stand up for those around him and injustices, Leo often finds himself starting fights and arguments regardless of who they're with and struggles with authority figures out of his own stubbornness and reluctance to back down, as well as a relatively short temper. He speaks with a hint of a Co. Cork accent, having been raised in Ireland until he was ten, and as his father is a Cork native. He is not naturally overly flirty, but knows when he's needed to charm people and can be flirty and charming when he wants too. Leo also struggles to open up to people, and can sometimes appear cold, but he has a very warm heart and will do anything for a friend. He would say he's neither a pessimist nor an optimist, but someone who relies on luck.

He's more like his mother than his father, having inherited her round eye shape and small, straight nose (although it was broken at some point so it's not as straight as it once was). He has a swimmers body, in many ways, despite no longer swimming competitively, and a large scar the whole way along his right knee. His hair is a mid brown colour, not quite chestnut but not dark enough to be chocolate brown. He tans to a slightly deeper shade in the sun, and would develop freckles across his nose. He inherited his skin from his mother too, rather than his fathers Irish skin. He has small but full lips, and a typical square Irish jawline and high cheekbones.

As a child, he did a lot of swimming, hurling and rugby however when he moved to the US he found a new interest in equestrian sports, and kept up his swimming. His father was a doctor, his mother was a barrister, however his mother became very unwell just before his 8th birthday, and it became clear she would need specialist treatment when he was 10. This prompted the move away from Ireland, which impacted strongly on Leo as he was an only child, and his father seemed to withdraw into himself or his work. Leo would spend a lot of time caring for his mother, and in turn he shares a very strong bond with her. He found that horses and swimming gave him a place to relax and express himself, and by the time he was 15 had become a very promising competitive swimmer. This all ended after he managed to tear his meniscus, ACL and break and dislocate his knee. It took over a year for Leo to be able to walk again, and he knows he will never be able to swim competitively, which saw him throw himself into riding as he finds he needs structure and discipline in a competitive sport to keep his mind balanced. It took him by surprise how much he enjoyed the challenge, and how much he found he could understand the horses. He occasionally will ride in a knee brace as a result, and on very bad days has a slight limp. He has never been able to own his own horse, despite being from a family with more than enough funds to support it, due to circumstances and the nature of his injury. In the spring before his 18th birthday and graduation, his mother's health also took a turn for the worst, and he nearly left high school to care for her. Whilst he did graduate, he has since struggled to manage without the routine of school, and due to his feelings of loyalty and that he has to care for his mum, despite her own protests that he should be living his life.
