[Cinch] Change of Heart

So, I was originally planning on getting a lovely Arabian colt who I'd dubbed Cruze. After much talking with my husband, it dawned on me that this foal will be my last horse most likely. So, I needed to ensure that it was my absolute dream. And it came down to Cruze was not. He was an Arabian, but that's about all he had going for him. 

I know you can't ride color/etc, but with a baby I wanted to be absolutely perfect. So I discussed it with his breeder, and she agreed to let me back out of the purchase. 

I casually started looking for what fillies are out there (seems like the year of the colt) and my biggest requirement was to have a filly. I'm mare person through and through. 

So a woman messages me, and while she's much farther then I'd wanted to go, I messaged her anyhow. If price was decent enough, I would consider it. 

And she messaged me this beauty. The minute I saw her I knew she was the one I was after. Gorgeous blue eyed Palomino filly with chrome through the roof. We talked for HOURS and HOURS before I made my decision. But having looked at 1232132 fillies for years and years (because I always look at babies) this was the one to finally, totally get me obsessed over them. 

She'll be coming home the middle of October, just like Cruze was planned to. I still hate backing out on him, but I knew in the long run I'd have been settling for something that wouldn't be my full dream. 

So here's the gorgeous beauty herself ... She is now called Ziva We had a name change... her name will be Maisy ... not sure if I'll spell it that way or another way.

She is so pretty I love her coloring! I don't know a name for her that doesn't involve food ( I am hungry and yet it is like 3:00 in the morning xD).

"Sky" in my language is either "lucht" or "hemel". Hemel is also the word for heaven.

Nyla maybe? It's not very original, but it's not incredibly common, and I think it's a pretty cute name. She is beautiful!

just from the story... I would probably call her "Eureka"

Eureka was the word miners used in the Australian Gold rush in the 1850s when they found gold. From the sounds of your story... this little filly was the gold that you struck. Congrats on finding her :)

Danzy, her eyes are blue. And from the shade of them looks like she'll keep them. And personality right now is really not known since she's so young. All I've really been told is she's sweet.

I'm terrible with names but Cinch she is stunning!

Maybe Gloria, 'cause her chrome shines with all it's glory! xD Or Vanille, she's pretty light. And if she's sweet, too, it might fit her well. :) God Speed on your journey! Hope she does turn out to be your dream ♥ ♥

Why must everyone be horrible with names. Lol! I've sort of narrowed it down. I'm doing a list of five and then will decide. The names so far that have stuck are...
